DESCRIPTION This is a puzzle map I have been working on for a while now. I think I started sometime in the beginning of this year. It took so long because... I am lazy. I haven't been working very much on it. If I'd work as much I could have done it'd be done for a long time ago. But now it's finally finished and I finally came up with a decent name to it: Zentik. The forging on this map, well I think it's alright. I wouldn't consider myself as a proffesional forger. But I know some techniques like ghost merging and others. On this map, I don't think I used ghost merging more than once, actually. I haven't used the budget glitch on this map. I actually regret that now. I hate when I run out of money. You can play with up to 4 players at once. Also, I have added some images and I will add tutorials for each challenge. CHALLENGES Spoiler CHALLENGE 1 TUTORIAL Spoiler 1. Pick up the Shotgun and Radar Jammer. 2. Go to the Grav Lift. There you will see a space to the upper left. You can use your Radar Jammer to get up there. Since there's a Grav Lift next to it, it gets more difficult. You'll need to find a way to get up using the Radar Jammer. Easiest way is probably to throw the Radar Jammer somewhere beneath the space and then jump and shoot the Radar Jammer with your Shotgun. 3. Look at the upper right and you will see a deployable Grav Lift. You can just simply jump up to it. 4. Use the Grav Lift to get the Battle Rifle above the place where you found the Shotgun. 5. Get the Grav Lift again. 6. Use the Grav Lift to get up in the tube. 7. You will see a fusion coil. Do not shoot it with your Shotgun. Use your Battle Rifle instead. 8. Go down again and pick up the Radar Jammer 9. Use it to jump over the wall where the Grav Lift used to be. 10. Find the needler and stand in front of any wall. Look down a little, then shoot until you die. CHALLENGE 2 TUTORIAL Spoiler 1. Break the pallet to the right. 2. Jump to the right where the wood bridge is with help of the remaining pieces of the pallet. 3. Enter the teleporter. 4. Shoot at the fire grenade until it falls down the hole. 5. Then jump out of the tube so you respawn. 6. Pick up the fire grenade. 7. Throw it at the pallet in the window. 8. Enter the teleporter. 9. Jump on the wedges to get up to the roof where the Battle Rifles are. 10. Pick up one of the Battle Rifles and also the Grav lift. 11. Put the Grav lift on the ramp. 12. Use the Prowler to jump with the ramp. 13. Place the prowler on the wedge. 14. Stand on the Prowler and jump to the wall where the teleporter is. 15. Enter the teleporter. CHALLENGE 3 TUTORIAL Spoiler 1. Pick up the Radar Jammer above the Grav lift 2. Get the Fire Grenade above the weapon holder using your Radar Jammer. 3. Throw the Fire Grenade at the Grav Lift. 4. Pick up the Radar Jammer. 5. Use it to get up after the Grav Lift. 6. Find the Machine Gun to get to the next room. 7. Find another Machine Gun. 8. Pick up the sword. Find the next Machine Gun. 9. Jump up on the wedge and pick up the Radar Jammer 10. Jump down the tunnel and deploy the Radar Jammer and jump on it to slow down the speed. Ooh a mysterious puzzle map So when someone figures it out the map you will post? Cant argue with that. The mini game section is FLOODED with puzzles! Oh yes and welcome to Forgehub, we got awsome cookies! Its hard to tell what you have made and what can be fixed. From one picture I see: Sniper BR Wraith Tanks (I think) Floor and blocks Since your new and its hard to tell if you know the forge techniques from one picture, I suggest you look at Forging 101. They got the best cookies.
I won't really wait for someone to finish the map and then post the pictures. I'll post the pictures even if no one finished it. It's more to see if someone can make it without a tutorial. Off course they can use forge though. And yeah, I forgot to add what kinda forging I've used. EDIT: I added a little in the description. Wait, a wraith? Nope, no wraith.
Hmm, It looks all right. I'll download it see how good it is. If I finish it I'll edit this, one of my friend always begs me for a puzzle or mongoose track because he doesnt know how to DL maps through Bungie. So I'll try it with him. Edit 1: Wait, whats "The Vessel".
If you knew you'd have to wait to upload more pictures, why did you post the map now? By the time you post your other pictures and finish your description, this map will have already slid down to the bottom of the Recent Maps list, and will probably go unnoticed. You have a brief time frame for your map to gain fame, and that time frame will be wasted because too many people will be put off by your lack of pictures, too many people will choose to download. I might come off as mean right now, but I'm only telling you this to help you out. You seem to have genuine talent, which is the only reason I even bother telling you this. Well, if you read his description he said he wanted people to finish his puzzle without spoilers. What the fun in that? (Unless its Forgers Cell) Also he said he had other pics and he kind of wants to go down in fame so not everyone who sees this sees the pics. Instead he leaves them hanging and they go DL it.
Oh, The Vessel is a older map I made. Haven't added it to the file share yet. Well, I can try to add the pictures as soon as possible, but I'll have to resize them first.
Ok, I gotta give you props. You stumped me. I couldn't do ONE of your puzzles. For the first puzzle with the radar jammers, I got it over the grav lift but it didnt blow up! SO I went into forge and started flying around at the different "stations". And I couldnt solve any of those either. Also the forging was pretty good, it shows you know your stuff and have some potential. You could be a pretty big forger. Also I think you should post some pics of the different puzzles, they dont have to show how to do it. Just to be a preview. Good first post.
Lol, the first challenge was, IMO, unbelievably easy. Second one, which I ended the game at the end of but then realized what I was supposed to do, was also easy to figure out, but somewhat hard to do (I'm looking at you, first part of challenge 2!). The only hard part I found with the first was that I had my character as an Elite, so the radar jammer thing was giving me trouble (Remembered how to do that as an Elite after 2nd try). I like the first part of Challenge 2 though clever
The second challenge can be pretty hard. I have tested this map so many times now, so I can do it on the first or second try.
Lol, yeah. The second I started the 2nd challenge, I saw the pallet and I'm like 'HAH! YOU CAN'T FOOL ME!'
The forging does look veary neat and im glad to see some new puzzle maps, this is a download for sure!
