    Simple, practical, mabye not the ghost, but i really like it.

    i already mentioned this but you seem to have missed it. the ghost is supposed to be a banshee, there isn't a banshee available to place so I put a ghost in its place, but i still plan on it being a banshee.

    Good job! I recommend trying to figure out where the teams would respawn in a CTF or Team Slayer game. They need somewhere safe and enclosed, and probably with equal distance from the banshee.

    And if you're going to have a banshee, be sure to add in a decent amount of things that would counter a banshee.

    You probably have these options:
    • Grenade Launcher
    • Rocket Launcher
    • Plasma Pistol
    • Plasma Launcher
    • Spartan Laser
    • Missile Pod (if its in the game)
    • Concussion Rifle? (we still don't know how it fares against vehicles)

    If I were doing it, I would pick 2-5 of these and scatter them across the map (not arbitrarily, mind you). Anyways, great job! I'm going to add you to my list.

    Its looking like a good start, and the verticality of it should play well with jetpacks and cover, but as frog said you need to watch our for an overpowered banshee and make sure that teams have a fair chance at flags/power weapons/banshee/etc with spawns, especially on such a small map. for example, on lockout/blackout two teams will spawn, one near sword, the other near shotgun, and about a 50/50 chance of making it to sniper first. Take a look around and check for balance.


    Oh and if you wouldn't mind, take a look at and give me some advice on my current project (in sig)

    It looks pretty good so far what kind of games would be played on it? When I look at it I think FFA slayer but I dunno and also with the Banshee you may want to add some kill barriers off in the distance of the map, not too close but not too far so the Banshee guy can't just get 15 kills then fly off to the other end of Forge World and let his teammates get him a Perfection

    so im thinking of making it a little bit bigger because your right it is pretty small, any ideas on how and in what direction I should extend it

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

    A banshee on this map would be horrible! This looks like a small Guardian style map. Think of Guardian with a banshee. Please take out the banshee.

    Would a falcon be better, i think the banshee is better. Also should i extend and make the map bigger, if so which direction should i extend it. If i extend should i make more covered or open. Does anybody have sketch up componets for gravlifts and weapons.

    Don't even have a vehicle. This looks like a small map and a vehicle would just ruin this map.

    but if its bigger i can have a vehicle, so should i make it bigger.

    I'd extend it outward from the shortest sides. maybe if you add some out-buildings (not just pathways, actual enclosed buildings) then the banshee could be nice. also make sure the banshee is near the center of the map, so that one team doesn't have an advantage. also, I'd place probably 2 anti-vehicle weapons around the map, namely the laser, rocket, or plasma launcher.

    as for keeping the banshee inside the map, you could place a soft killzone so that the borders are about 4x the size of the map, which gives the player plenty of room to fly but not too much.

    Do not put in the ghost, put maybe a heavy weapon there, like the rocket launcher. Other then that, it looks good, not to complicated like many other maps created.

    its not that hard to read. Ive already said twice that the ghost is meant to be a banshee

    That addition to the map makes it much better. You have the size and function of a Guardian like map. The update is excellent. Could you add an angled shot of the map with the addition?

    I would say you should spend more time taking better screen shots. Perspective profile/plan views are horrible. Get some nice isometric angles and we are talking. The small pics you added also do not show much of anything and are more or less useless.

    sorry about the poor pics, i added in some more for you, if you need more pics just ask. by the way, im trying to think of a better name for this map, if you have any ideas tell me.
