Forgeworld Sketchup Map [Updated - 8.24.2010] I've begun working on a sketchup map of forgeworld for those that wish to utilize the terrain for their maps. It won't be to terribly detailed as I don't have a whole lot of free time atm. A lot of the in-game terrain will have to be implied or left to your imagination. I used The Storm 59's map of Forgeworld as the basic layout. So far I've completed the island, with only a few minor errors I need to fix. Also, If anybody wants to help out I can upload the sketchup file. ^^^ brighter in the program itself. This was a render ^^^
I'm flattered. While my map is probably the most accurate and simple out there, its definately not quite right. Keep an eye on the screens of Forge World to make sure that I haven't done something wrong. This should be a good start untill bungie releases the official heatmaps, and the game is released. Though once the game comes out, the necessity of sketchup in general will probably dimminish, considering how easy to use the Forge 2.0 tool set appears to be. BTW, good job so far, and good idea to do this.
I think I speak of all Forge hub saying, Dl nao pl0x!. But seriously please that would be awesome. I was thinking of ding this as well.
I'll keep working on it as much as I can but atm moment I have some major data work sheets to do and math homework waiting for me.. Does anybody know where I can upload the sketchup file? The only pieces I have left to complete are the tower island thing, the beach and the grifball place. I should have those finished by tomorrow night
