You forgot Red Dead? *Gasp* I'll go for Reach, if Halo 3 is still being played by 150000 people even now; Reach will be played by a large amount of people for a looong time to come.
Theres one completely overlooked game right here, and though I'm not a fan of it myself, I'll put it out there, and that's Starcraft II. But of course, the extreme torrential bias for Reach in this thread almost means I have to say Reach... a game that hasn't come out yet. I'll wait and temporarily say Red Dead in the mean time.
I'm predicting that Reach will be the number one multiplayer title of 2010. Red Dead wins for action/adventure and Limbo for download. I doubt that New Vegas will be able to overthrow Red Dead because it hasn't deviated much from Fallout 3; Red Dead, on the other hand, was a completely unique experience. Still, that probably won't detract from the enjoyability of this next Fallout game. Overall GOTY 2010: Halo Reach. Bungie's final game couldn't be anything less.
I think it's gunna be Halo: Reach. Black Ops has no chance unless CoD can somehow make a campaign that has a good beginning middle and ending (good luck with that.) The other game with a chance is New Vegas. A huge open world game as the successor of a GoTY has a good chance of winning.
Mass Effect 2, hands down. The depth of detail and storyline in this game series is phenomenal. Though New Vegas may just beat them out this time around, only time will tell.
WHATS OUT NOW 1) NOTHING....i can't think of anything better than reach, which i refuse to put first because its such a let down 2) Halo: Reach (6/10) 3) Transformers: War for cybertron (5/10) WHATS OUT LATER IN YEAR 1) Call of duty: Black ops 2) Assassins creed: Brother hood 3)
