Is anyone here suspicous that Bungie hid a secret section of ForgeWorld, so we could discover it after launch and love them even more? I Am!
Nah, but I do know there's sections that people are overlooking like Alaska and Montana. But no no anything secret seeing as places like IGN have done hands on in Forge and would have most likely found it by now
FogeWorld? Is that like a BTB version of Backwash? I kid. Seriously, I don't think there are any sections reviewers would not have picked up on, seeing as they can download a version of the full game. There's already a lot of space for anything you want on Forge World and its not the only map available to Forge on, just to remind everyone.
I think you're underestimating the stupidity of IGN at times, Bungie could probably have included a secret area, with a big sign above it saying "secret! Don't look here, IGN!" and they'd have missed it. But seriously, I'm inclined to agree that what we've seen of Forge World has been too in depth and varied to hide another area. Though I'll admit, it would be a pretty nice surprise.
That'd be pretty cool of Bungie, but I doubt it. I bet they'll have a bunch of cool Easter eggs like the ones on Valhalla, though
But srs bsnz; Where? Well they have only shown us forge-world in little bits and pieces, there is plenty they could have kept hidden. How? Maybe a teleporter in a random spot that we cant guess, maybe a tiny & superbly disguised hole in the ceiling of some overhang to appear like a bump. IGN is like 'tarded and spent all of their time in two or three different areas and didn't even look at Montana or Alaska....
Remember the version released to reviewers is DOWNLOADED. It could have easily been edited to block certain things. Bungie could easily have a few more surprises for us.
+rep Bungie is apparently showing off some new section no one has seen, and apparently it's climate is different from the rest of Forge World. I don't think it's real though.
If anything it will be that Giant tower that we will be able to forge on. They haven't officially said we can go there or forge there yet that I know of, Yet there is that video with a monitor up there. EDITicture
I bet Mount Forge is really a volcano and we can fly inside it and forge in there... No. That won't happen. But it would be neat though right?
I heard that they're keeping one area a secret. Also bungie could have told the people like IGN and stuff to not tell anyone.
I feel like IGN was saying there was a 7th gamemode and new Forgeworld. I wouldn't call them reliable to keep a secret. Then again, that may have been a different source... Spoiler there's no 7th gamemode or new forgeworld
Unfortunately, I don't think the tower up above is forgeable. But the indicator was a soft-kill timer, so it's possible that you can remove it. Fingers crossed, yeah? I'm not counting on a 'secret area'... But there will be plenty of less-defined areas where some extra forge juice can be squeezed out.
There was a question answered in a recent interview about that. They said that the tower was built on the very edge of the boundaries, and like you said, I'm hoping we can delete that soft kill zone. It's likely that there's a default soft kill zone, though. We'll have to wait and see.
From all the demonstrations of Forge World I've seen, there does not appear to be a single one that looks at Alaska and Montana in more detail. On top of that, we have no way of knowing the full dimensions of Forge World until we've experienced it for ourselves. Bungie being Bungie though, there will definitely be some sort of easter egg.
You know what be really cool? If possible, as time goes on Bungie releases more and more areas of ForgeWorld! How cool would that be?
What you got against necros? FogeWorld? I don't recall having a FogeWorld. I wants to find a way out of ForgeWorld to forge out there. I don't want more Forerunner objects so no extra ForgeWorld updates, please. A hidden area sounds great. Though I guarantee it will become overused once its discovered.
The Plains. The 9th area of Forgeworld so I have heard. Though I have no idea on how to get there or anything.
