New Halo: Reach Xbox 360 Console Sounds If you didn't already know, the new Xbox 360 "Slim" consoles make sounds when they are turned on, or when the disk tray is opened. The Halo: Reach Limited Edition Xbox 360 console features a couple of easter egg sounds. When you turn it on, it will make the sound of Overshields when they respawn in Halo 3. The other sound it makes is the sound of you shields recharging when you open the disk tray. I did not know that, But I heard other than those sounds the general noise of the xbox is very quite.
I lol'd. Anyway, that's cool. That's another thing I get to look forward to when I get it. EDIT: I hope the sounds are called from the system's memory. Custom sounds would be pretty sick.
Reminds me of jailbroken iPod themes with the lock and unlock sounds. And is it just me or do the two sounds seem like they should be reversed?
