Well, I started this piece today. I was wondering if i should finish it up. Its gonna have a Key switch in it for sure, but I'm not sure what else. Overview Edited overview v Spoiler The "Wall, T"s in this picture are below the death barrier, so if you try to jump down to it, You die from "Broken Legs" < < Dunno. I thought it was cool. If you can see, there is a little hole to the right of the center of the picture. That is a hole where the zombie can shoot up at and start attacking. Human Spawn View from spawn point. I personally love it. It's a great start and I think you should finish it. I specifically like the wall, T's and how you "break your legs". And you said that there is a hole where the zombies jump out of, to the right of the main structure, I don't really see it... I love it, you should complete it, because it's an awesome start.
It looks awesome, should be a great Infection map. Although one thing I noticed, wtf is goin on with the man cannon at the bottom of the screen? lol
Thus far, I'd say it looks pretty cool. I like the whole broken down/degrading style you appear to be going for with it. I'd say get back to work and finish that bad boy up! Should be interesting to see when it is done. Not sure about the point of the "broken legs" area simply because, for people who don't know it will kill you, aka people who have never played the map before, might see it and think, "hey, I want to get over there, that looks cool." Then bad, unspeakable things happen to them. I could see that being a bit frustrating but the idea behind it, or maybe I should say the concept behind it is really cool on premise, not sure how well it will work for gameplay though.
Well there is a piece of guard railing missing at the entrance of the cave, and a little piece of flooring a zombie can hide behind and "Panic" the human off. I've worked on it more, and it is coming out pretty nicely. EDIT: Oh, The man cannon is for Ghost merging....Tons of ghost merging.
It looks very nice but be sure there are multiple paths so the humans have to watch their backs. Having one path usually ends up in humans just camping and killing zombies every time the enter sight.
Yes, there are multiple paths. One to get the key, and the other to the doorway. I also figured i should do an "RB" Saferoom door closing system.
Better description please? I have never heard of something called that. Do you mean the kind you get into by going onto a mongoose? Either way, safe-rooms are rarely good for infection because it disrupts the onslaught of zombies.
no..Where you press "RB" and it forces a warthog to close the door. I can make a little map, and post it on here. EDIT: And the Saferoom is because its a linear infection map. ALRIGHT PEOPLE! This map is finished, but i cannot post it up because my computer crashed. And you're thinking "BUT CHEEZ3, HOW ARE YOU POSTING THIS?!" Its called a wii, my friend. I just need to test this map and then i will post it asap.
I cannot tell what it is as of right now, you haven't done enough yet that accualty looks like a map yet.
