Anyway, the shot isn't really unique. It's just a bunch of fusion coils exploding. But, the angling of the shot is nice and you fit everything you were trying to fit into the shot. It's good for your first, but a cliche aswell.

 

Yeah what meltyourtv said about embedding your pictures.
Otherwise I would just suggest trying to add color somehow. Instead of the blinding white light from the explosion.

 

getting a few people placed near man cannons to throw some equipment up in the air helps (drainers, regenerators, both kinds of stickies, etc). also lots of needlers, carbines, plasmas fired at the same time. you might need a lot of people to stage that though

 

The effects are pretty weak. Try adding some color and lighting effects. Throw some grenades or shoot some weapons. Maybe even turn yourself invisable and do stuff. Keep on trying different effects on different levels and they will turn out better.
