Okay, I just read an article on Cracked about internet vigilanties after I got run off MW2 by someone hacking and making me hate life itself (Again, this time with a full auto FAL with an aim bot). So I am just wondering what happens if there is still horrible amounts of hacks mods and cheating in Black Ops. It's pretty obvious that Activision has given up on quality control, at least for a while. So I am wondering would it be against the site rules to make a board here were we list the names of cheaters so that people who have nothing better to do can find that person, make sure they are cheating (if they aren't then the person posts so here) and then annoy the hell out of them + file a complaint against them so that they get taken down sooner.
I don't see the problem with the occasional cheater in Call of Duty games because there is no penalty for leaving and trying a different match. As long as you don't find someone with a cheat every few games, then who really cares?
I know, I missed the beginning of when MW2 came out so I didn't get to see how much carnage there was first hand. I just know that supposedly it was horrible and no one could get a game without a cheater. I just wanted to do something about it.
Forge Hub is a HALO forum. Not a Call of Duty One. I'm sure there's Call of Duty forums out there that have ban lists like you have said.
Well then, what about doing it for more than just CoD. There are plenty of jerks all over Xbox live, and there's a thread on here about the joys of "Betraying the Betrayer." Giving the guys in that thread a hit list would probably be like Christmas for them.
No. Period. Do you think all people would do is report them? No. Making a list like this, even though you thin kthey deserve it, will get them harassed a lot. If they do it something to themselves to get harassed, okay. Once another TELLS people to harass person X it is bad. What if YOU were put on the list? Tell me how you would feel.
Good point. I could write "make sure they have actually done something wrong before you do anything to them." and people would just go after them. And people would probably put on people who have done nothing wrong for fun. --- Can someone lock this?
