I was just looking at all of the Halo: Reach videos there are and I came across the April Fools Day vidoc called "Zugzwang Evolved". I saw this, knowing that this space IS the colliseum in forge world, because of the wall patterns and size of the room. However, there is evidence shown in the video that forge world has existed at least as early as April 1st becuase, just barely the video shows the open wall side, giving a very brief glimpse of the rest of forge world. This can be seen at around 1:50. This may not really be interesting to much of you, but this was interesting to me, because forge world isn't really that new in the production timeline of Reach. But, what really surprised me is that no one really recognized this before and has mentioned it. If it was April right now, wouldn't you wan't to know what's out there? Also, the landscape looks different than what it is now. Whatever, I thought that this was interesting and some of you find interesting too. Moderators, if you feel that this thread needs to be locked I understand, I just wanted this to be recognized. Here's the vid. I laughed! -.- But yeah, it was shown in early development months ago. The view has very low def terrain, as if it was only just being built.
Either that, or it was still in the "it's in the same place but you can't go there" stage, as in it looks like the landscape is far off but visible (before it was condensed into one megamap)
Did you think that they just whipped Forge World and all the forging mechanics up just recently? I'm willing to bet that this all started to come about before we even knew much of anything about Reach at all.
Yeah i remember that video lol. I chess-crazed friend was disappointed to find out that it was a joke lol. but yeah, I kinda figured that as well.
