Vygorouz gets full credit for the general idea for the gametype as well as the very first, rough version of the map. I came in and made the final map, tested, tweaked the gametype, and now... posted it. An overview of the map. Both bases can be seen, as well as the weapon and equipment spawns. These will be explained in full detail later, though. Red base... ...and blue base. While this may seem obvious and not even worth noting, I wanted to make sure that everyone knows the importance of each of these bases. And the importance, of course, is that you must drive this vehicle into them in order to score. This is the front of the red goal. The blue goal is exactly the same just with a... well, different color. The idea behind the goal is to keep people out on every occasion, but ghosts only on some occasions. If a ghost isn't going at least close to full speed, it's not getting in because that would just be too easy. So instead, you should try one of the more common strategies. Kill the enemy team with assassinations, splatters, the powerup, or tripmines; and then boost into the goal for the capture. However, there are countermeasures against this technique. Try throwing a couple mines in front of your goal, and you'll surely produce some reactions such as: "OH SHI.....!" BOOM!* *lolz guaranteed The teleporters seen in the previous picture take you here, randomly on one side of the map or the other. And here is the custom powerup. It gives you overshields, enough damage to kill, and a nice glistening golden color! GIVE 'EM THE BACK SMACK! The golf club: for extra launching power and extra lolz The tripmine: for the aforementioned strategy or to pick up some kills (one to launch but not kill, two to launch and kill instantly) The beginning showdown... LOL wut?! Be sure to play it with atleast 4 people (2 per team). 1v1 can work, but I really don't recommend it. The same goes for anything over 8 people. It just gets too crazy and impossible to score. Vygorouz and I would like to thank you for taking the time to look at this post, and hopefully, for downloading it. What a awesome gametype and a map that would work perfectly, really its nearly the same as griffball but with a ghost. This i am going to download and have a try with, theres nothing really anything like it. When the Ghost blows up how long does it take to respawn, How many times do you have to score to win
It was a frickin awesome sauce game when we were testing it with you. It is a such a creative idea for a game. I can predict this map ans game getting far.
Yeah, this does look pretty awesome. However, is the gravity lift on instant respawn? If not the could just destroy it and easily get in with the ghost. And does the custom power-up make you run faster?
