Interesting idea. It seems pretty well though out but the execution of the game doesn't seem that great. You definitely want to add aesthetics. I do like the batting cage idea though, I've never seen that in a posted map before. As far as scoring, you might want to make it so that there is a instant capture territory before each base that gives them one point. it'll need to be reset each time someone passes through. That way if they make it all the way home they get four points. Also sticking seems pretty hard to do. If you're good enough you can run all the way. Not quite sure how to fix that one though. The final thing you can do is add some aesthetics. Maybe even some stands that the fans can watch from. EDIT: I saw that the gametype is already territories, how does it work?
This must have been tough to make. The idea is pretty original too. Its this kind of thinking that keeps forgehub innovative.
Alright, i appreciate the hints and i will surely take them into account. I will do a remake of this map and put in more features. I cant really figure a way to get the runner out without being unfair to the runner. The territories are just for show, its just to show first-4th(home). I will also admit the map is a bit sloppy, home doesnt really line up with second. This was my first baseball park map and like i said i will remake it. Thank you for posting!
You should definitely work on trying to build a H3/H:Reach baseball league Haha. And this map was very creative. Me and my friend had a lot of fun just messing around pitching and stuff. With the getting people out when they are running to bases though, does it have to be a stick? Or is it just "kill the player with grenades" type scenario?
Thats funny I was just thinking of making a map like this. Not baseball but more so the rockets and grav hammers. I could see this working out as fun game for me and a few of my friends but sadly in a custom with randoms not so much. The only thing is when your in a random game with alot of people it would be hard to explain the rules and make them Liston. Thats more obvious so really no need for me to tell you I will try this out sometime
This map looks great! Downloading it right now, one of the better made baseball maps I have seen. Can't wait to try it, great job.
