Every gametype labeled neutral or multi is symmetric, while the ones labled one-sided and such are not. Every game where there is an equal advantage/goal/objective for each team is symmetric. FFA is not symmetric
So this means that you can create objects, such as weapons, for certain gametypes... like One Flag or Neutral Bomb?
Yes, it goes as far as respawns, teleporters, weapons, objects and objective points. I may have missed a couple though. Basically, you can create two maps in one. One for symmetrical, and one for asymmetrical.
...so, theoretically, you could create an entirely diff. map for asymmetric v. symmetric (redesign one base to be a defender base, change weapons, etc)? if so, my up-and-coming map may have just gained a +10 bonus to gameplay...
A very underused setting. You can notice on Avalanche that some vehicles spawn in MultiFlag, others in One Flag to set the scene for "Defenders/Attackers". Two maps, one file.
