Its walls and buildings surrounding the central killing pit containing the Active Camo and a turret make for fast paced combat and chaotic tactics. Lifts and catwalks provide interesting player movement around the map, and weapon placement, though close to true to the original (I picked close equivilants), provides a need for tactical map use to gain control of the game.
Nice dude i played unreal tournament 3 and on shangri la, this is mostly an exact remake(weapons are close in style) 4/5 interlocking could have been used though to make it allot cleaner
Looks intreguing, I'm going to download and play it. I'll be back for a rate and constructive criticism, but I've never played unreal tournament, so it will be a rate based on how well it plays for halo.
this looks cool, i like the hills and tht gate in pic 2, nice aesthetic touch. Altho to say one thing, id say id interlock a little more to smooth out some bumps i think i see in some double boxes. Otherwise, its pretty good nd im DLing.
Wow, this map looks really cool. I just forged through it and walked through it and, really, it's nice. However, one thing that really bugged me was that there weren't any weapons anywhere. There was a turret, invis, overshield and a few grenades. I'd like to see you place some weapons somewhere. Don't overdo it, though, just a few weapons, maybe a sniper/set of rockets as your power weapon/s and a few non-power weaopns thrown in the mix. One other thing, and this is very aesthetic, but I found myself "hopping" over several areas, I don't think any of the fixes would be hard. Just a bit of interlocking, not too much. I really liked this map and hope that you release a v2...
Some places are meant to have jumps, like overshield to rockets. There are power weapons already. A shotgun spawns inside the building across from the sets of stairs. A sniper spawns in the tower above there, and a rocket spawns near the overshield.
No, what I meant is that my character "hopped' over little cracks between objects. I didn't jump, it's just that the objects didn't create a smooth floor.
