First of all this map and gametype are by Death Cycle 300. Very simply, this is firefight. Not like any other firefight map though. To survive, you have to use teamwork. One marine vs on covy could fail, but not with two. Fight in a tower in the middle of the desert from swarms of covenant vehicles and ground soldiers. The covenant have slow recharging shields, but have higher damage effect. (so basicly you could kill a marine with about 5 carbine shots.) The marines have slower recharging shields than the covenant, but they can take them down easier. ( so basicly a body shot with a sniper could kill a covy) They are also equipped with many defensive weapons The covenant have plenty of vehicles and weapons. - 6 carbines -4 plasma rifles -1 energy sword -4 choppers -8 ghosts -2 wraiths -4 banshees -2 prowlers The Banshee drivers are effected by a custom powerup that makes them have a large waypoint, and lower health. This map looks really sloppy, and all of the screenshots (or almost all) are up-close, so I can't really see the big picture. And it looks like this is just a map where people run around and do nothing. So tidy up a bit, create a definite objective of the game, and post an updated version.
My friend is a pretty good forger and I assure you that this map plays alot better than the pictures show. It is one of the most fun firefight maps I've played on, so if you download and play it with atleast 10 people, you'll think alot differently. Also nobody just runs around the map because your basicly screwed if you do.
It looks okay, but some things just don't seem right. Based on the description, the gametype definitely need to be edited. In addition I don't think all those custom power-up are necessary. Giant piles of equipment are just plain sloppy. There should have been a Covenant spawn room.
I'm not very good at describing things but seriously the gametype works perfectly and Yes I think it does look sloppy but It plays very very well. and Im not bragging cuz its not my map
Hmmm. Interesting. The tower idea is something I haven't seen before, so I'll give you props for that. I agree with Plasma Blades on this one, there should have been a Covenant spawn room. Also, I noticed in the screenshots that there weren't a lot of ground troops running around. Every Covie I saw as either in a Wraith or a Banshee.
I like the idea of the map first of all, but I don't think putting 2 Wraiths and 4 Banshees together would be fair for the humans. Sure, you might say it plays well which I can agree with you but make it a little more fair by putting in 1 Wraith that respawns probably once every 2 minutes and 2 Banshees that respawn every 30 - 45 seconds. Like everyone else said, forging neatness is a little sloppy, I think you should take out some vehicles and make more ground troops. All I see is the main tower and another tower which means you must have a lot of budget left so if your going to make ground troops, put some cover in with all that budget. But I give the map a 4/5 to be nice.
Budgets almost gone and the banshees are very very weak due to custom powerups, btw My friend asked me to post this. In no way do I think this is unique, but It is very very fun
