    Castlevania: Harmony of Despair Review!
    Castlevania: Harmony of Despair was my first Castlevania game ever! And for once, I enjoyed something that I thought was going to be boring. Castlevania:HoD is a 2D/3D type scroller. Its sorta like a fighting game/puzzle game with a little bit of RPG on top. In the game, you have a choice of 6 characters. Each character has different abilities and weapons. You basically fight throught 6 levels trying to figure out how to defeat bosses and enemies. Its graphics reminds me back in the good-old days of the NES. However, The bosses and enemies get harder and harder to kill. For Example, You'll be fighting Skeltons at the beggining and then start fighting harpies and so on. If you're a true fan of Castlevania, you probably are smarter than I am. After each level you complete you will recieve gold coins and purchase new items and weapons to increase your characters offense and Defense. This makes room for more playthroughs. In the game you have 3 options. You can play the Campaign by yourself (Solo) which is alot more difficult (Trust Me), Play Survival (Don't know what it is since you need 1 other player to join you) or Play Co-op Campaign up to 6 Players. Wait What? 6 Players! Yep, the first game that allows more than 4 players in an arcade game. You can check your friends on the leaderboards and see how fast they got through each level. Plus, theres a mode that allow you to download and record clips of you beating the game. Instead of a game that focuses you beating the level, you can accually search around for teasure chests and other items. The game will easily take you 5-6 hours depending on your skill and about 10-12 hours searching the levels clean. The only issue is you have 30 mins to beat that level. If a player dies, 5 Mins is removed making alot more difficult. For 1200 MS Points, Castlevania:Harmony of Despair should easily holding a spot for you harddrive. This games give you alot more for just 1200 MS Points. Easily a game I would play everyday until Halo:Reach. The game is remarkable by its standards. The fact that the game took 9 Months to build. Konami has made a intense game that takes a good few hours to beat. A Remarkable 6 Player Co-op Campaign, a mode that like threatre mode in Halo 3, Survival and Leaderboards (with time and score). Makes this game a 7.5/10 (You decide if you wanna waste 1200 MS Points). Castlevania:HoD is the very first Castlevania game I've ever played and its a wonderful and great game all together. I found this not really worth my points.

    Gameplay = 8.5/10
    Searching for thing has never been so fun. Killing creature with friends and the fact that the game is always puzzeling, Intense and fun all the way through. Makes me want to play this game for weeks. Gory and fun make some great gameplay. I could spend weeks trying to get and find everything. Tons of Fun with 6.

    Graphics = 6.2/10
    I respect Konami that they only had 9 months to build the game, But the game's graphics make my eyes hurt. I love NES graphics but this is too much. Most the of items (Besides Weapons) aren't even on screen. For Example, a ring. The ring only gives you extra abilities but you can't see it on you character. I would also like to see ledges and object more clearly. I couldn't see most of the ledges and things you could jump on.

    Multiplayer = 4.5/10
    Horriable, 4 players stuck in a box attacking each other. Bad Multiplayer.

    An Okay Game!

    a review and discussion are totally different. A Discussion is like a thread where players talk about the in-game experience and a review and rating a game gets after being played for sometime being.

    The graphics of the game were ripped from the PS1 game, Symphony of the Night, and the three DS Castlevania games, with only minor adjustments to keep the same overall feel and nostalgia from the other games, so reviewing the graphics is a farce.

    If you're going to review another game in the future, paragraphs would make this a lot easier to read, and don't have contradicting statements, it makes it hard to understand an opinion of a reviewer.
