The year is 2519. The Insurrectionists have set up a base on an asteroid in The Rubble, an asteroid habitat surrounding the gas giant Hesiod. The Innies are currently working on a new brand of warthog, heavily armored and with a high-powered gun to match. If they begin mass producing this 'hog, the war can pretty much be declared over. You are the best of the best, and we need you to destroy that prototype.

We are deploying a scientist with your team. He's the only one who knows how to properly destroy the warthog. We'll drop you as close as we can to the 'hog, but we still need to lay low, so you won't be dropped too close. The Innies may have some weapons scattered about, but we can't be sure of their degree of safety. You must be in visual contact of the scientist before you pick them up so that he can examine them. Escort him to the warthog so that one of you can destroy it. Once you destroy the warthog, your ride will come. Escort the VIP to the landing point so you can get the hell out of there. We'll try to give you a detailed outline of the compound. We have a couple satellite pictures of the compound.

This is your drop off. Feel free to scan the area for weapons, just make sure that the scientist can see them. There is an interconnected tunnel system that leads from the back of the drop-off point, to an observation bridge, to two storage rooms. You will begin your invasion by leaving towards the left of the photo.

To your immediate right is where the hornet will pick you up, but ONLY once the technology is destroyed. This room has little other purpose, but it does have an SMG, you may be able to use that, given that you're in range of the scientist.

This should be the next part of your path. This begins your approach to the nuclear reactor. To the right is a path that leads to an overlook of the reactor. Dead center is a UNSC active camouflage prototype. It must have been scavenged off of a UNSC ship they destroyed. To the left is a quick passage to the ventilation tower of the nuclear reactor.

As soon as you breach the base the enemy team will pour into this area in an attempt to hold you off from the hog. That sniper rifle won't make your job any easier. Your vantage point should be just to the upper right of this photo.

Given that you've done your job correctly, this is where you will complete your objective. The plasma grenade to destroy the technology is located on the the left, hog on the right. You know what to do from here.

This is the last picture we have for you. It should give you some sense of orientation in that hellhole. Good luck, soldier.

We do have one last point to bring to your attention. Should you succeed in this, we have received word of two more vehicle prototypes that we could use your help taking out. At the moment we only have one picture of these facilities, but we're still working on decoding the second one. It should be uploaded to your intel net shortly.

And now, as promised, the pictures of the other two facilities. As we mentioned, the other will be uploaded shortly.

However, we have a question for you. Are you interested in the task of destroying two more prototypes? Send us your response below in this secure comm link, as well as any questions you have about this mission.

Very good post, I like it because of the way you set it up, with the secure comm link while still describing the map in a sense that one would be able to understand it easily. Onto the map, the merging is very clean and neat. Although in this picture it looks like those tiny ramps are off the ground.
Dunno, might just be me. Your aesthetics are beautiful and the gameplay looks like it will be very interesting and unique. One question though, is the scientist the VIP? Nice map, a download from me.

EDIT: I would love to destroy the next two prototypes, as long as they use the same gametype.

Alright, just played a couple games and there is a major, major problem. The hornet is not spawning. That's right, you can't fully evacuate. Other then that, the gameplay is pretty smooth and it was fun even though you couldn't win...

Yes, the scientist is the VIP, but the game does not end when he is killed. As far as that part I'm not quite sure whether or not they're off the ground. Although based on my forging techniques I would say that they aren't off the ground, since I probably set them down. And sounds great, I'll keep working on them. I was experimenting with the gametype to try to make it work with vehicular combat, but I don't think it'll work without an honor rule of not destroying the hornet.

I'll check that again right now, but of the last few games I've played it's spawned.

Okay, I just tried it 5 times, it worked for me four times. The only reason it didn't work one time was because I got to the warthog in under 20 seconds. It's fixed, and so long as you don't blow up the hog in under ten seconds, you should be fine. The hornet doesn't spawn either, if that's what you meant. It drops from the skybubble and takes about 10-15 seconds to fully fall. Uploading the revised map now.
    Done.
