Sandbox Somber Daybreak

    Somber Daybreak is a Halcyon class UNSC ship, like the pillar of autumn.
    Who needs photoshop to do their pictures. I have MS Paint!!!1one

    For those of you who like stories to go a long side aesthetic maps/ ships etc

    Once upon a time, there was a ship called Somber Daybreak. It was a Halcyon class battleship and participated in the battle of reach and early on into the human covenant war. Reach was upon its destruction and the UNSC was making a last stand. Somber Daybreak arrived shortly after the UNSC had given up, right when everyone was leaving, Somber Daybreak arrived. Destroy them! Although there were just some ground forces and a few other ships along with Somber Daybreak, some spartans still on the ground, they did their best to fight off the covenant, but it was too late anyway. Like all of the other ships, they created a slip space rupture and flew as far away randomly as they could and came upon a strange desert planet with odd structures billowing out of the continent. "Looks like the covenant didn't follow us here" said Captain Corndog "But, what is 'here?'".

    Before someone goes, HEY MAKE A GAMETYPE THIS COULD BE COOL. 1. It wasn't a budget glitch map so I ran out of money, and useful items to make the interior better. Therefore this is mainly for the outside. I did what I could for the inside. Will probably remake on reach, of course way better. Anyway here's pictures.

    Somber Daybreak features a mac cannon, a helipad for launching vehicles like the hornet, falcon, a vehicle depot, 3 turrets, and of course, the bridge and an armory. Uh, there's really not much to say other than it looks nice and really has no purpose other than a show piece. So here's pictures. Enjoy

    Also, the effects are on the main floor by the hole to the crypt

    Looks like a very nice map. I havn't played it yet but I am currently downloading it. Just one suggestion, you should include non-edited pictures of the maps below or above the same edited pic. I'll be sure to play it right away. cheers.

    Yeah, I'd agree with ON3i11 by asking for the non-filtered screenies; I can't really tell what's going on in a lot of the pictures with the darkness. Besides that, did you put the MAC at the back? Strictly speaking, it should be somewhere centered in the front of the ship.

    I'll DL, see what it looks like.

    Nice Pillar Of Autmn you got there, Your forging is fantasitic. When playing on the map does it have the filter on or did you just use it for the pictures. I can see some nice Infection games on this map. I know you said that with the gametypes but did you set just the basic ones up like slayer, infection or are there no gametypes out all.

    Anyway this ship seems pretty real good job with that.

    I edited the pictures with the arrows to show the crappy inside because I couldn't think of another way to kind of show the inside because its hard to take pictures in somewhat small areas without deleting anything. I couldn't be assed for that kind of trouble, or to straight up draw an overhead view on paper with the layout on it.

    As stated near the top somewhere, the effects are on the main floor of sandbox near the hole to the crypt, I used them because otherwise the killballs at the back for the propulsion look kind of stupid. Also, the Mac is at the front, I didn't have enough money/large enough blocks left to really make it full size, it should be a little bit longer and the back should be a little bit bigger, where in fact I had to make it smaller due to running out of double blocks, block huge's. It just looks like that in the picture. You'll be able to tell once you download and look at it.

    Thanks, It's not made for any gametypes whatsoever simply because I was just kind of trying to send this thing out to forgehub, this is probably my last map however I do have a phantom being made but idk if i'll ever release it. When playing on the map it does have the filter/effects but you can delete them, they're near the crypt hole on the main level of sandbox.
