To be honest it looks very rough and unfinished. The only thing that looks remotely imppressive is the design of the covenant base. Im sure that sounds really rude so I'll see if I can give you some tips. 1. Add some aesthetics. You said the Covenant base is on a relic, make that look more obvious. Try to make a giant relic. Look at some covenant architecture in the campaign and try to use ghost merging to model your base after them. 2. Spread the bases out. If you separate them to opposite sides of the map, if promotes movement throughout the whole map. This means laying any power vehicles and some power weapons at each base, with maybe some central power weapons. 3. Lay off with all the power weapons/vehicles. It looks like you have nearly every power weapon and vehicle in this map. Sure, they can be fun when you have them but when the other team has all of them it's not fun. Balance out the vehicles and weapons so that spawn killing isn't too easy. 4. Fix your spawns. I'm pretty sure that two people can camp in two separate spots and kill anyone who spawns. Make some spawns covered by 180 degrees, or maybe even more. Then, add another spawn at the opposite angle, so if a player can see one spawn, they can't necessarily see the other. So I haven't played the map, but the pictures make it look pretty poor. Look at some of the forums on this website for tips on forging. Best of luck! Yeah I didn't expect to get great reviews. I made this in less than a week... I guess I could work more on aesthetics. I'm just not to good a being creative in that matter. Anywho, I don't quite understand how you meant to fix the camping problem.. :\ Oh, and if you checked out the gametype, you'd know see how I made it more playable than it looks..
Ok its ur first map im not gona be a ****, but anyway u kinda need to learn how a map and game flow together, if there are to many power weapons the game is imbalanced, and if ur map is not really all put together than even balanced weapons can result in bad gameplay. Pretty much go into the Forging 101 forums and learn the Eb and flow of map making this wont only help for H3 but also for Reach. with the new forge 2.0 you can make an awsome map but u will still need that knowledge for good weapon balance and good gameplay so go check out that and than send another map our way.
Big boy likes smileys... :/ :] :0 XD But seriously, this map is a good try for a first post. Check out the forging 101 forums to get a feel on map flow and spawns. It sounds like a lot of work, but it will be worth it when u come back here and somebody tells u they enjoyed customs on ur map. Ur maps will get substantially better and better reviews on ur second and third maps.
