Abattoir Greetings, my fellow members of the forge community. Forging in general has given us a great thing that we have never had before, the ability to use our own imaginations to make things for ourselves. As the sun of Halo 3 begins to set and the sun of Halo: Reach is just start to peek over the horizon, I believe that we should all appreciate our own accomplishments, not just as an individuals, but as a community. we have all created so many great things in Halo 3 forge that I simply couldn't carry on to Reach before making one final, epic map, dedicated to the great game that was, and is Halo 3. The map is called Abattoir, and is the biggest building in Halo 3 history according to all the forgers I have shown it to, a Skyscraper in truth. It stretches from the bottom of the crypt almost all the way to the crypt ceiling. It has 7 floors in all, all of which are like large atriums of epicness. In every one of them, you will find different designs and architecture that have been used throughout my Halo 3 career and as always, it is forged to as near perfection as I possibly could. The map was made on an OLN canvas and is budget glitched (twice( Thank you Vyctoriouz)) so that I could fully utilize every object that I possibly could. I found it only fitting that a game of such epicness as Halo 3, be sent off with a bang. Enjoy. O.M.G! when i saw the first pic i thought, It's pretty big, then I saw the second pic, damn thats really big. Great map. The merging is neat, the ide is neat, the building is neat. There should be a gametype of king of the tower for this. 5/5
Dude...this is crazy. The tower is just amazing. Is it meant to be purely aesthetic or will it support FFA Slayer? Either way, great work. This really is a good way to go out with a bang.
A great map as a always Fuzzywig, pinpoint forging accuracy and a huge structure to go along with it. This isn't my favorite of your maps because it doesn't have some type of switch like alot of your maps do (loved the fireplace on that one map).
This map is huge. I love towers! I think it would be great for infection if you could set it up. Although the lack of terrain kind ruins the playability of the map but the aesthetics are awesome. Would you forge on Reach with me?
dude. this is fantastic. i great map that should be in the featured. it is huge and very well made. however. i must say that i feel like the top, even though you did the best you could with it, of the structure kinda looks odd because it is forged into the walls of the box room. but im not gonna hold it against you. 5/5, 10/10, 1000/1000. fantastic map and i will DL and show all of my buds this map. great work
*head asplodes* Once again, Fuzzywig, another masterpiece. Reminds me of the Shard from Mirror's Edge. I love that one flight of stairs, the exterior, the lobby, everything! The only thing that's missing, though, is some weapons. I know there's an Overshield, a Splazer, and I know you ran out of objects, but you could delete a few respawn points to put some weapons in there. Heck, you could delete ten of those spawn points and make an aesthetic statue right outside! But anyway, fantastic. 9.9/10
Ok, let me make some stuff clear. ^^ It doesnt matter how many spawn points I delete because those were original Sandbox OLN spawn points. I could delete every one of them and not get a single object in return. Also, no, this map is NOT for playing on..that is why it would be in the AESTHETIC section (means its just for looks)
This would be pretty good for Infection, but if you don't have anymore objects, that sucks. Its pretty amazing how smooth you have everything.
Just tried it. Made a custom game type called apocalypse and works great! It has to be very specific game-type but once you get it working it works great. I'll distribute the game-type if you guys want.
you never cease to amaze me fuzzywig. when I first saw this map I was like. Oh this is cool...... Wait You Guys Did What!!!!! This is possibly you're best map yet, it host some of the most amazing aesthetics I have seen. Its size alone separates it from others, it is so big it needs and elevator to get you up with getting tired! This is you're swan song to Halo 3 and what a beautiful song it is!
MAn, fuzzywig you definetly have made the best aesthetic buildings on forgehub, this one of yours is my favorite, I love the elevator, and all the nice architecture. I notice it is like a hotel. You are a great architect! Wow, I can't imagine what your gonna make for reach, but you'll probably be able to make it quicker thanks to all the new features.
WOW! Great map, amazing structural design from years of halo experience, almost like a architectural museum. Everyone should have this map.
Dude I downloaded the map and its awesome. Did you ever think of adding some kind of infection gametype to it to make it even cooler?
I came up with one and it is pretty fun. The elevator makes for a quick getaway when you are being overrun and the lobby makes a great battleground. So they gameplay is really good. It is already has the spawn points put in the map and everything so if you guys want make your own epic game mode like I did. And as I said before I'll post mine if you guys have trouble coming up with an infection game mode. Btw the aesthetics are the best I have ever seen. 10/10!!! Gameplay 8.5/10.
Itz Fuzzywig is my forging hero, i have all his maps and they are all amazing. he makes some of the best maps iv'e ever seen. can't wait to see what he creates on the other side, Reach that is
