Well, I haven't logged into this site for a while... Anyway, I present to you, the people of Forge Hub a map spawned from a simple idea. What is that idea? To make being the zombie fun. At the Races is an infection gametype that focuses primarily on speed, quick thinking, and a little bit of luck. Humans spawn at the Ocean Base on Valhalla while a single alpha zombie spawns high atop the Other Base next to a banshee. The humans must quickly rush to mongooses scattered towards the front of Ocean Base as the Alpha Zombie prepares his assault. Once in the mongooses, it is the humans' goal to make it to the Other Base on foot or vehicle, grab the grav-lift, free the teleporter, grab the custom power up, grab the laser and shoot down the Banshee twice while fending off attacks by smaller zombies. Get it? No? Well good thing I have pictures... Alpha zombie spawn. Human spawn. Mongoose spawns circled in yellow. Unblock the teleporter with the grav-lift to get through to... the "sanctum" with custom power up to allow weapon pick-ups. Then go through the teleporter and... reach the laser and missile pod spawn Sanctum and man cannons blocked. Zombie spawns. I will update this with gametype information and DL links when I get the chance later. Sorry for the incomplete post, but I have to go.
Hey. For pre DLC this turned out pretty good. I like the idea of unblocking the teleporter, but does the solution have to be that close? Maybe place the gravlift where you can see it, but further away so you have to work for it. The problem with pre DLC is that almost every object is a soft object, and you have to utilize the teleporters to prop anything else. Overall good job with what you made of this. Valhalla is always a nice travel location apart from the gloomy sandbox and trashed foundry..
Why did you post something that is incomplete? (not the map) Couldn't you have waited until you finished the post to post it? The map looks okay. Nothing special, but its hard to make something special with just crates and barriers. This post is probably going to be locked.
You need to put respawn points in respawn area, sorry if you didn't know that. Pretty cool idea for a pre-DLC map, its worth the DL IMO...
I'm just wondering, but what stops the Humans from just staying in the Sanctum all day? If there's only one teleporter in, they could easily camp behind or to the side of that teleporter, and strike down any Zombie mo-fo's who try and enter. Cheers (and please reply), HarisSales.
