Frosted Haven Brrrrrr... From the weather outside I know that its around Christmas Time!!Well, during this festive season I thought I might give all my friends a Christmas present that would be fitting of them and fitting of myself. So, that is how this wintery and snowy map came to be. ____________________________________________ The map itself is supposed to be the main base of the marines when the Pillar of Autumn crashed landed on the first Halo. The inside is where Captain Keyes coordinated the resistance and where the Marines slept and ate while the outside wall was regularly patroled by the vigilant defenders. This stalwart installation stood strong until a flood army 1500 strong attacked the small garrison of 135 men. The flood army was devastated, only 250 flood remained, but they eradicated the last remnants of humanity off of the ring, except for the Master Chief. This structure now lies barren and lifeless, frozen in time after the destruction of the ring, but one could only wish that peaceful rest would take this installation, the rumble of war once again shakes its foundation. Who will survive this next battle? ____________________________________________ I started this map about 9 months ago and did about half of the outside wall pre-ghostmerging but I soon got very frustrated about the very difficult geomergess and didnt touch it again until ghostmerging came out about 2 months ago. I have been working on this map sporadically since then and just finished it on Christmas Day!! The map is located in the Central Cavern, Shotgun Spawn and the area around Laser and Ghost Spawn. The spawns for the attackers are at the side lifts. I used a Unlimited Money Map and used all the possible objects to make this map so I could spawn no more objects. The map has 5 rooms not including the open air top of the base and the outside wall. So far, it took me about 30 hours of forging and about 5 hours of planning. Map supports Infection and Territories. Someone told me you were making a map on avalanche, I've gotta say this one really looks nice. Looks like you can actually play some really fun infection on this so i will be sure to try it out. Also i will be looking for the super-secret spot, should not be too hard.
Looks pretty awesome, DLing right now. I'm hosting a LAN party @ my house tomorrow, so I'll be sure to give it a test and get back to you with any useful feedback. I'm a fan of your other maps, and we'll be playing some of them as well (including Mile-High Club, I did a little editing to make it zombie - friendly ).
Yay you finally posted it! I like how the power core turned out, because I know you went back and forth between clear and solid. Anyways I like all the rest of the stuff you added on the outside, especially the Hornet pad. 5/5 Very nicely made!
wow Fuzzy it looks a **** ton better than when we all were messing around on it. I love the main lift into the base, and the power core/fire place deal is sweet. At first i didn't even realize it was the same map, haha great job man this looks really good.
@ Rippin Heads- dude- you are a ****ing epic fail- look at this dude- he doesnt even say anything and he jost rates the map randomly without even looking at it- its people like this that cause me to go to XF.

XF stands for XForgery, its basically s smaller version of Forgehub but it has forgers on it instead of random ppl like Rippin Heads (who cant forge himself out of a paper bag.) =] Oh- and congrats on finding the secret spot...im glad someone found it! ^^
I've always been a fan of your maps and this map is Beastin. Making most of the map in the cave is an awesome idea and great on the aethsetic level. Making it for territories is a great idea and this map is defianetly a DL for me.
Good sir- I like you - you win the internets ^^ and as for CTF- I didnt set it up for CTF but you may do some editing if you like to change that -you will have to delete the territory items however, the item limit was reached.
Oh- and jsut an attention to those ppl out there that care, a dude named SKELA09 took this map and is now calling it "Skela House" and basically all he did was save over it..so if you see that version out there then dont download that version- thank you much good sirs =]
the outside base looks terrific, you could make a good competitive map out of that. The armory is terrific as well. Another great aesthetic map sir, and a good backstory.
Lol...I actually wanted to test it a bit more but the games of territoreis that I played on it played very well- it felt like I was defending the castle almost. ^^
Woa! Awesome map and sick idea. Aesthetics are super sweet, and I really dig what you did with the rounded front, and the interior is really tight, it reminds me of that Avalanche map called Underbog. I'm definitely downloading this and checkin it out.
sweet, i only just found all your posts today and noticed that ive played some of them before anyways i think this map is awsome but my fav out of your maps is the sands on this map i think you should also set up for 1 sided assult the planting spot could be where u said was the core
Wow, and all these room and equipment were just on the ring, cool! Overall, the view of the map is incredible, from the geomerging, to the small details like the infirmary, this has to be one of the best maps I have seen, so creative, and avalanche needs some attention!
This is a really nice map. It has clean merges and great player movement. But I remember seeing this before. I think you have posted this like a long time ago cuz I liked it so much that I made my own version of it because it wasn't in your fileshare, but I'm glad you have it up again. btw my version sucked compared to yours.
