Map DL: Titan Outpost Gametype DL: Last Spartan Last Spartan is a VIP gametype I made that was inspired by rifte gifle's Asset. The VIP Team (Marines) spawn in Titan Outpost, a small UNSC Base located in a desert. The Marines have 90% Damage, Resistance and Speed. 150% Gravity. No Radar and No Shields. They spawn with an AR and Magnum. The VIP (Spartan) has 110% Damage, Shield Recharge Rate and Speed. 150% Resistance. Normal Gravity, and Radar. He also has a waypoint over his head at all times. When he is within 25 meters of a Marine, the Marine gets a moral boost increasing his combat effectivness. Their new traits become: 100% Damage and Resistance. They get Shields (To act as Stamina), and a 50% Shield Recharge Rate. The Attackers (Elites) spawn in their War Room and have normal traits, except for 110% Speed. They only Spawn with a Sword. They also have a Custom Power-Up that makes you a Zealot. The Zealot has 125% Speed, and 110% Damage and Resistance. He also has a Waypoint over his head. After the Elites get their weapons and leave the War Room they Teleport onto a Vehicle Pad where there is a Wraith, Ghost, Banshee, and a Prowler (I didn't want to use this, but it was the only Covenant troop transport). The Marines must protect the Spartan at all costs, and to do so they have a locked down Scorpion, 3 Turrets, and an Underground Bunker with a few weapons, and numerous other weapons all around the base. But none of the Marines weapons or equipment respawn (This includes the tank), so use them wisely. At 3 minutes in (Out of 5) a Transport Hornet spawns so you can reach your destination, a small UNSC transport ship. The round ends when the Spartan arrives, or dies. Backstory: The year is 2563, 10 years after the Human Covenant War ended. Humanity is quickly rebuilding their civilization, and the Elites finally killed off the last of the Brutes that opposed them. But the Elites question if they can still trust the Humans, so they sent a few ships to Earth to moniter the Humans. A few weeks later, something fell from space into a large, African desert. The Marines of Titan Outpost go to investigate, and find the last known Spartan. When the Elites find out about him, they had to react. They send a small ship to kill the Marines at Titan Outpost, and the Spartan. A Transport is on its way to pick up the Spartan, so the Humans of Titan Outpost must last until then. Titan Outpost An overview of the entire UNSC base. You can see the tank, Sniper Platform, and the Weapons building. The bottom section of the Weapons building, and a few of the weapons. The upper section of the Weapons building, and a few of the weapons. And the Hornet landing pad. And finally the Escape ship (The most poorly Forged thing on the map..) Elite Spawns The Elite's War Room. The Elite's Vehicle pad. And that's it! I hope you enjoy it, and tell me what you think of it!
Nice work man, it looks like you really paid attention to what the testers guild had to say. I'm glad to see you enclosed some of the defenders buldings because that was a problem. It kind of looks like you can still snipe the attackers as they come out of the teleporter, but ill have to play to find out. I'll be back in an hour or two with a gameplay review. Edit: I went into the fixed version with high expectations and came out with a much better experience than the TG version. The match actually lasted unto the hornet spawned and my team almost made it to the destination. The fixes you made were for the better. I did kill 2 people as they came out of the teleporter though, its quite hard to do considering the distance, but still possible. A simple wall there could fix it, but its not that big a deal.
Maybe, I actually wasn't thinking of that. But the Defenders still have limited ammo, so it can only go on for so long. And You'd have to be a good shot to kill all the elites before they get to their vehicles.
Every time I played this on the TG, No one ever made it to the end because the open spartan base, and nobody really knew where the Armory was.
Great looking map, but I have limited space on my hard drive. Would this still support Rifte's Asset? Congrats on the map, anyways.
Uh, I guess it could. But it was designed mainly for Last Spartan. But Asset is Brutes and I only have Elite's weapons for this map. But go ahead, try it out. And someone please compliment me on the War Room. Because I really hated building that thing. --- Glad to hear! But you said almost got to the destination. I take it you got shot down before you got there? And are you still doing a review, or was that the review and I was expecting a longer review?
