IGN Video: Halo: Reach Xbox 360 Gameplay - Custom Battle Don't know if anyone has seen this, I looked around a little and didn't see it buried in any threads. I found it on IGN in the related videos whilst watching one of their 'rewind' things on the campaign trailer Bungie dumped on us yesterday. It's a close up and 360 view of the new Ascension remake. If you look closely you can see several kill volume markers (the skull and cross bones) I'm assuming we don't see the field because they didn't hi-light the kill volume marker itself. Just something I thought I'd share. Here's another one I found, but I'm pretty sure it's been posted already. Doesn't hurt though. There was another video too that was just a short snippet of Firefight Vs on Gruntpocalypse. It wasn't too interesting but if anyone wants it posted I'll do it.

At least there's no more discretion as to whether the middle part rotates. Well, I'm sure people with still find a way to debate it anyways <_<
If you watch the callouts, they change from something to "Pillar". Though I'm not sure if this is in relation to pinnacle itself, or forgeworld as a whole.
"Pillar" is the official name for the rock. You can't place callouts for your own specific maps ((((((((

Yeah, I read that the reason we can't is because they wouldn't be able to filter out the undesirable or inappropriate content that would of course be used by the ignorant/ immature masses. I can't believe how many kill volumes they used on that map. I counted four at least. I wonder why they used so many?
It changes from Pillar to Coastline. Its funny that the Halo 3 Forge HUD keeps popping up in videos. Even in the Forge World ViDoc it was switching between Halo 3 and Reach's HUD. I'm always surprised by how big things are. I see more and more pictures of Forge World and start to think "its not that big", then I see someone driving a long the Island, then they're still driving along the Island... still driving... still driving, then I realise again how big Forge World is!
yeah sweet find, im glad to see its like exactly accurate, but if the pillars don't move then Tower of Power will be really hard lol.
Yeah, I have an idea for a simple map and a simple game type I wanted to put on the island for a 4v4 and up game, sans vehicles, however I am afraid that the island may be too big for it.lol. I'll have to get a lot of playtests on it.
no it's not. "The Pillar" and "The Rock" are two different parts of forge world. I haven't read all the way through this discussion so idk if someone else already mentioned this. *sorry I think I may be wrong. It just looked like it was a different area from the angle of the picture I saw.
The coolest part by far is that there's still more than ****ing five thousand dollars left for budget.
