    just an idea nothing more.

Both here and on bungie.net I have brought up the idea that with the new amazing features of Reach (a game I was NOT going to get until I saw Forge World) and it's forge that possibly very much like the filters that allow color blind and nova that a similar filter/orb system be developed that would allow lighting and enviomental changes to the map.

Imagine taking your map and adding a filter that made it a snow version instead of a grassy one. Or maybe you want a zombie gametype on a map so you add a sunset/night to it. What's more fun than an epic battle in the rain as lasers and plasma fly though the air as you slosh forwards towards your foe?

EDIT: And yes I know there are no weather effect available ATT. However I would like to point out that this is a thought of a interesting idea nothing more.

Now I have no realistic idea how hard this would be to do, simple cosmetic changes COULD be done, however adding effects like clouds and rain snow fall and the like may be too much. But still the idea would be interesting.

Any thoughts, ideas and the like, please post here.

I'm about 99% sure they said no weather effects will be available, but I'm not going to rule out DLC.

There is no snow, rain, clouds, etc. like you mentioned. We have the same FX as we did in Halo 3 with a few more like purple, which is similar to nighttime

We have a lot more, But It's pretty much confirmed not to be in, there is a 0.000001% chance that it will be included in the future for DLC but don't get your hopes up.

I'm sure weather effects would be frickin sweet, but they would also be the most expensive item on the map because it's not just a color filter, it would be a constant graphs mechanic that would probably put the game budget under stess if the effect was pre-built in to the map. If you could though, you would probably only be able to put one (due to weather contraditions) and it would probably cost arround $500 in the budget of $10000.

Well other than necro post, that doesn't sound too bad given the price of a good sized map is around 5,000 bucks.

But still this was busted weeks ago, Any mod if any please lock this down thank you.
