Will you be attending a Halo: Reach Launch Party? I sure as hell am. The last few games I pre ordered I didn't get the bonus for because they were all given away at the Launch Party. When it comes to armor in Halo, I'm not missing that for the world... Also, the local EB Games usually gives out some T-shirts, some posters, does a draw for a gift card, and a few other things...
The one that I'm going to isn't big, really. It's just gonna be pretty much a few xboxes with reach on them and a lineup to grab your copy at midnight.
I've never done it because I've never actually been able to legally buy the game without my older brother or parents (and let's face it, they'll never come). It is so stupid you have to be 17 to buy it. DAMN YOU HILARY CLINTON. Maybe I should just show up and try anyway. I mean, I'm 16 and 6'4 and could grow a beard just for the occasion.
Future shop by my house usually gives out free games at the launch party, with H3; i got fantastic four ROtSS, and with MW2; I got Thrillville OTR. Both are really cheesy, but they were a good amout of fun when the core game got out. However, I don't think I'll need another game for a loooong while when reach comes out, so I am still split on the subject.
Def. I'm going to the midnight launch and cutting school the next day. This is my first midnight launch, I'm 18 and only got my license in decemeber. Finally I can go on my own. Whats a good time to get there? An hour before?
Whats the first thing you guys are gonna do on it? For me, Forge. Duh. The campaign just doesn't look that appealing. But hey, I never liked campaign anyway
I plan to attend a midnight release. Hopefully. The only one and last one I went to was MW2, hopefully my brother will come to his senses and put it in a pre-order so he can drive me.
Well i can't really go, got to travel 300km to the nearist EB, i just order at my local electronic shop. I imagin that it would be pretty full on if you went to one of them, so many people
I'm going to the midnight launch party for Halo: Reach, but I've never been to one before, and have a feeling that the local Gamestop here doesn't celebrate as much as I'd want them to. It'd be great to recieve a gift card or free game... But I doubt it'll happen.
There's going to be one in my pants. You're all invited, whether you like it or not. Really, I'm just going to play the game with my friends and stuff. There won't be any launch parties where I'll be anyway.
