Seen here: Microsoft Releases 'Halo: Reach' Xbox 360 Bundle | News & Opinion | PCMag.com Whats your personal opinion on the limited edition Halo Reach xbox 360 console? Do you plan on getting it? Why or why not? I would get it, but i just got the modern Warfare 2 console since my previous 360 fried. I may sell that and/or get a job to possibly buy this one though.
I ended up getting the Halo 3 Bundle at CostCo that came with the Halo 3 Xbox 360, a charge kit, the Limited Edition of Halo 3 and the Halo 3 controller with the multiplayer plate and Chief mini figure when Halo 3 came out. If they have a bundle like this for Reach, then yeah, I'll get it.
I'm getting it for my birfday present! But I needed some new controllers, and a new console, and Reach, so...
Me wants, me likey, but me no think I buy-ey. I recently bought the 360 Slim so I have no reason to buy this one, other than that I do want it.
I want it but can't justify it. I've got a perfectly good Halo 3 Xbox 360 with no reason to need a replacement. If it were just the console with 1 controller for 300 I'd probably get it for when/if my current one dies. But with the extra controller and Reach, I'm not really into it as much. I'm already getting Reach Limited and already have 4+ controllers. Don't need even more.
I might have convinced my fiancee to buy it for me as a christmas present if we get some Amazon giftcards from our wedding.
Thats why i cant get it. I have a new console with 250gb harddrive. I have no legitimate reason on why i should get this. But like i said, maybe I'll sell my modern warfare console. I'd like to buy the ordinary slim 360 enough just since this is loud, bulky, etc. But the Halo Art and sound effects, plus an extra copy of the game i can sell are just bonuses. Just a little side question; can you transfer data from an old 250 gb harddrive to the new ones in the slim 360?
Well I'm going to ask for it for my birthday, gonna help pay for it a little though by putting in my old xbox in as well. Ya it will happen =D. It looks like a good deal for me too, I need wifi and bigger memory storage.
In me own humble opinion, the Reach 360 looks way cooler than the new black sleek one, even though its the same design. In the off chance my box dies, I'll consider getting it.
Another thing about why I won't get it; when I got my new Xbox I transferred all of my licences and now I have to wait another year before I can do it agian.
Looks like i wont be getting it either..for another year. I just literally transferred my licences last week so i could be Johnson in firefight... Damn..
As sexy as it may look, it's not something that I can see myself dropping $400 for. I'll make do with my Elite from '07. My warranty did expire though...
