At the very beginning of this video it says "game type: basic editing" what does that mean? If you were to scroll through the different gametypes in forge does that mean that they have a forge pro, or possibly the forge game type they tried to ship with halo 3 that they invisioned but never released has finally been perfected? What do you guys think? Video link: YouTube - Halo: Reach - Comic Con 2010 - FORGE
Yeah, I noticed that the first time I watched the gameplay video too. I'd guess they included some "Forge Wars" type of gametype, or gametypes that allow more precise forging? I don't know what gametypes you could add to forge...
Yeah, you can now choose between editing for different gametypes while on the Forge menu. There's still a slight chance we could see "Forge Wars", but at this point it's not likely.
Well, honestly I don't think that they showed us half of what you can do in forge now. But I am trying not to get my hopes up. The reason being is that in the answers ferrix or whoever gave seemed to be hiding something. Then again I could just be getting paranoid. BTW: Whats forge wars?
A dream that may or may not have been realized. I enjoy speculation as much as the next guy, but thanks to Ferrex, I think the only way we are going to find out more about this specifically is to force our shaking fingers to place the disc in the tray and somehow successfully close it...
i cant remember to save my life where i read it, but i think somebody said in basic editing you will be able to see all objective spawns on a map without switching gametypes
That's incorrect. It came up in an interview and one of the Bungie employees demoing the games said that you would still have to switch from gametypes, just like Halo 3. He said they felt like it was just easier that way.
There is only one type of forge, this has been confirmed twice. Why is this thread still active? We figured this out on the third post... FAIL.
Lololol "pay attention" ass it's been mentioned so many times there is only one type of forge, basic editing is a different name for it.
