Ok, so I've got $350 accumulated through various means. There are some gadgets and games I've been eyeing, but I wanted to see what you guys think I should do with it. Photography (video and still) and gaming are pretty much what I'd spend it on.

Another thing: would it be worth it to sell my DS Lite and a bunch of its games? I hardly use the thing anymore, and, well... I could get some money out of it. Wii games, too. That thing's just gathering dust.

Also, saving it is an option.

Save your $350, sell you wii/ds games/ds lite, and buy 360 game(s) with the money you earn from selling those.

    Thats what I'd do.

I wouldn't buy 360 games since they're really aren't many worth buying and with reach coming out I'm sure it will last a long time. Save the 350 for more important things.

Today is a good year for some unique games.

Otherwise, save.. You could buy some camera gear, but that costs quite a bit :)

Exactly, save the $350 he has, and buy a 360 game with the money he gets from selling his wii/ds games and his DS lite. (I'm assuming panncakez is a he, lol :p)

Save it panncake, definatly save it. Invest it wisely and it may turn into 450 somewhat soon. Easily the smartest thing you could do.

I have to agree on saving it, but for a different means.

When you're old enough (if i remember correctly, you're in like junior year, right?) see if you can accumulate enough to spend on a car.

Yeah, I am a he, though thanks for being considerate. :D

@BT: Not in junior year yet.

@Insane: iPhone 3GS. Reception problem solved.

@Everyone: Probably going to sell the DS and most of the games. Maybe some Wii ones that I don't play anymore.

Oh, BTW, how should I go about selling things? eBay? Gamestop trade ins?

Not gamestop, they give you like ten dollars for an unopened copy of Gears 2

    Agreed, gamestop sucks for trade-ins.

You could try ebay, or maybe craigslist, if they have that where you live.

I would say, buy reach, then invest the rest in the stock market. We're in a recession man, so it's going to boom soon.

Its more complex than this, but yeah. Go with banking unless they made that illegal or something, cus it will be the last to bounce back up but it always bounces the highest. Avoid housing at all costs lol.

Hmm... The Nintendo 3DS is slated for March-ish 2011, if I'm not mistaken. The game line-up for that is superb, so I would advise you to sell the DS while the price is still relatively high, and save it for the 3DS. March 2011 is pretty far away, and the games they have slated might not fit your tastes, but I'm certainly looking forward to it.
