Rank 45: Sensitivity 4 I cant really agree with this because rank means very little. Everyone could have something behind their rank. I have three 45s and haven't tried to rank up (played Team Slayer, Doubles or Lone Wolves) for two years. I could fit anywhere between the 45-50 gap. Someone could have boosted/cheated, someone could have been carried to a high rank, someone could be really good, but brought down by bad teammates. What Im trying to say is why are you trying to use skill in this way. When the results come through on the chart saying "a majority of 50s use this sensitivity" it is still incredibly false because that doesn't indicate that the sensitivity is good to use. Even K/D isn't very accurate. Maybe when the Reach arena ranks come out, results would be better to follow.
I agree entirely, but as you mentioned with K/D, truly no piece of statistical information from Halo is a perfect representation of a player's talent. However, if a trend exists, that does show something, about something, at least. In other words, the graph isn't necessarily trying to prove that 'low sensitivity makes a better player' or otherwise. Perhaps, Player Skill Corresponds to Sensitivity would be better than Player Sensitivity Corresponds to Skill, eh? ^^
Updated the article just before cart0graph posted. I'll update again when we get a few more. Click here for the latest graph Also, I doubt Reach's player data is going to be any better than that of Halo 3's. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm happy to see Trueskill go, but Reach's ranking seems like it's going to be so effort based. Not just because of the experience ranking system, but because of Arena, too. The player that plays when another player doesn't will be rewarded. It might work better, but still won't be perfect.
I'm not on the graph. The only level 1 sensitivity I see is like a 41. I posted way before him too. I'm a 45 and play on 1. Edit: Oh wtf I'm an idiot. There's a second graph if you scroll down.
