This is not right. Why the hell would a hacker GIVE Skyluss something rare? I thought hackers get people banned in different ways, than just giving someone something that can be obtained, but on rare occasions. This really deserves thinking.
The Hacker didnt GIVE him rec0n armor, he stole his account whitch already had it. Didn't you reed the rest of the article? ??? P.S. he got it for sniping himself in the head ;D ;D ;D
It's not funny when you think about the fact that his credit card associated with the account got maxed out, and his identity has effectively been stolen...
Yeah, makes me glad that I use pre-paid Xbox Live cards. I definatly feel safe giving away credit card info.
Wow, that sucks. I wonder if the other guys are having the same problems (Lintendo and that traffic cone guy).
By the time you posted this Skyllius has already gotten his account back and the person who hacked the account is going to be SEVERELY dealt with. His credit card was not maxed out all though other people have had that happened to them. They haven't refused. They are going to do something.
Skyllius said so on his own forums. He has not yet recovered his gamertag because he does not want to interfere with the investigation into the hacker in question. He has been in contact with Microsoft. The whole thing has become such a huge ordeal that it has been put up on all major gaming news outlets, Microsoft has no choice but to do something or look horrible.
All this for Recon Armor? What the hell? Is it really that important to have some special armor permutation?
He said on his forums that his parents just reported their credit card stolen. The hacker is now wanted for identity theft.
