Alright so I have had a cap card... well the dazzle. For quite awhile and only recently decided to get off my ass and use it. I don't have all the cables I need and want to get some suggestions on things I should buy tomorrow.

First off i'll list the thing I have

    New 360
    [IMG]

54" 1080p HDTV (Steves face almost looks like a possible sig.)

    New 360 A/V chord
    [IMG]

My HD multi consle chord (MONSTER)

Basic 2-Sided A/V cable (forgot the proper name)

    And of course, the Dazzle
    [IMG]

I know I still need some

    1.Splitter Cables
    2.Video Editing Software
    3.Good mic for commentary

I just want to get your opinions on what I should buy. Meaning I would want suggestions for the things above. And anything else that would help me record/stream HD.

Or how to get Sony Vegas free :D

You can get a trial of sony vegas free. Also, google probably makes a version that is almost exactly the same but easier to use and free, they do that with everything. I suggest the internet as a possible solution. Namely google ;)

Do you have Rock Band (any version)? Believe it or not, the mic that they include with Rock Band is actually a really nice USB mic (one of the better ones that I have used, actually), and its free...

Also, Wikipedia has a list of all open-source video editors currently available: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_video_editing_software

Rockband Mics do work pretty good, but to go along with that a nice ol' Pop Shield

Maybe you've seen them used before in videos (I see them in RoosterTeeth shorts a lot) and wondered what they were.

Oh, and get a Hauppauge, if you have the money :p

Yah I know about those, actually a week and half ago I was at GameStop and overheard the employee tell a (Est. 12) year old Microsoft dosen't manufacture them anymore. Rock band that is.

Don't the X11s have USB compatibility, I know thir a few bucks more expensive than X1s because of something like that.

Hauppage is a little to expensive for me now. =P

And nobody mentioned what kind of chords and what I need, or the appropriate splitters.

You don't even need to buy the pop filter, but if you wanted one, just make a ghetto one. Panty hose and a clothes hanger. Its basically the same thing. Bend the hanger into a circle/square and slap the 'hose on it.

All it is is to keep wind from hitting the mic and making the "FFFRRRTTT" Noise. (Thats the best i can do)
