This is my entry for the SOTW contest this week:

    CnC please :)

Edit: For some reason, the lighting looks a lot more dramatic in Photoshop and on Photobucket... It looks a bit better against a white background (in FH Light), but I will try to see if I can fix it.

Ive noticed the same thing, i work most of the time in FH light now because of it. Different color borders go a long way towards changing that the way you would like.
Anyway, look at the bottom of her left arm; the C4D seems to make it seem like it is lit up from behind with a strange colored light. And the black protrusion by her leg is a little odd, but idk about that one.

I like it though. Especially cus of teh womenz :p

It looks flat, and I don't really like the text, but I think it's a good effort.

Not much depth and blending, and focal could be defined better. The effects you used are okay, but are messy in some areas. The text placement is weird, move it down and make not stand out as much. I do like the colors and lighting, along with the space stock that goes with the flow, nice job overall.

I started over from scratch (minus the photo-manip part), and I tried to use the suggestions that everyone gave me. This is the result:

I tried to work on blending and depth by really blurring the background and working with smudging and subtle gradients. I moved the text and changed the font and color, and I added a border for effect. I also bumped the intensity of the lighting up quite a bit, and toned down the C4Ds that looked out-of-place.

    What do you think? Better?
