An MLG based slayer map made in the crypt of sandbox. Weapons include: 4 BRs, 4 Carbines, and in the center there are 2 stickies and 1 mauler. All sides are symetrical. The map is VERY open so cover is limited. Use the obelisks that surround the center for cover. PICS: TO DOWNLOAD CLICK HERE: Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details
Squidkake noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! hah, embed your pix man! There is a tut. on how to do it, its quite simple. <3 And what does it support?
If you don't embed pictures within 24 hours of the post, this thread will become locked, which means nobody can view it. Other than that, the map does not look like any kind of competitive map. I don't understand why you would put MLG in the name, seeing as how there's no way in Hell this would ever get played in MLG. You have a few obelisks in the center of the map, with rings of stones around them on the outside. Where are the walls for cover? Where are the guns? Where are all the features that would want to make anybody play this map? It just seems very plain and boring, not in any way competitive, and not deserving of the title MLG.
Agreed, there isn't even any cover for the players, I strongly suggest a redo of the map. It honestly doesn't look like it will be that playable.
Some stuff in the middle and stone levels on the outside. It looks like a very simple version of Tundra, the bungie map in the swat playlist. People do not seem to enjoy playing on this type of map though because it is easy to spawn-kill.
That would be great! By cover I hope you do not mean stone platforms with walls on top and a little temple in the middle. I have some crazy suggestions, so take some and ignore most: -put up walls to make a big room in each corner (where the wedge larges start) -Have a tunnel leading through the "steps" in each corner, with a jump-up in the middle of the corner larges. -replace some of the obelisks with something more interesting -make a second level circular double-wide track above where the obelisks are now, with a bridge to the block larges that the ramps go up to. Just some food for the brain. I look forward to the v2, and I would strongly suggest merging/interlocking more, so the map will be very clean. For MLG maps, many players assume most of the pieces will be interlocked, if not all, and some even expect blocks to be merged into the floor. The reason is that grenades can get eaten by even the smallest cracks, and little cracks cause little bumps while strafing.
