The equipment plays a huge rule in this map actually. As for the mongooses they were OLN so Cowboy figured, why not. It helps with the atmosphere if nothing else.
Download Link Updated: Some small bumps on the map were fixed, and so were spawns. I took a really careful look at all spawns and found about 4 that were placed badly, or needed taken out all together. Game play is much more enjoyable now. The shortcut stairwells now have walls set to asymmetric only, so that for 1 sided game types such as one flag, the stairwells won't be present, but for slayer and KOTH, they will. I've fixed all possible breaks found up to this point in time. I had many skilled jumpers come into game with me in order to fix this problem. Up to about 5 breaks were found, and five breaks were fixed. also, both camping spots mentioned in the review were taken out.
Cowboypickle at least u take critisism constuctively. A great map like this people have to say something to try and act like they know it all. But anyways from what i can see this looks like a clean map. Overall i'd say the rating would be about a 6 or 7 out of 10 like people have been saying but I can't see too many problems and im sure it would play fine
i like the urban atmosphere. everyone that tries to do that generally fails miserably but with this map it appears spread out enough to keep opened up gameplay with the feel of a city firefight.
Posting here to finally give Cowboy his well deserved props Flow on this map is a great example of what a doubles map should feel like. Not to big nor to small, it has the sweet spot for size. The lines of sight have good varation, no weapon feels under used or not useful. This neighborhood map makes me feel right at home.
