What's going on? I'm Fatality, but you can call me Fate or Jokerfan8 (that's my XBL gamertag). I saw a lot of cool maps and thought I'd post some of my own. I just recently started merging and getting creative, so I have 1 or 2 maps that I think look "aesthetically attractive". I'll post some once my internet gets fixed, though.
:O WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY TOAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol, anyway, panic attack over, glad to see you joining. Ill probably just call you Fatality cus im too lazy to remember all of those different names... And i cant wait to see your new maps! Do you have an estimated time of when you can start posting them and stuff?
Welcome to Forgehub, man. My toast isn't burnt, it's just tanned...wrongly. I'm Cupcake, to answer your question, and I. Rape. Slightly. Help is available regularly over at Forging 101, including stickies on popular topics. Pitch your tent and start the campfire, because that'll be where you'll be for a good while, getting all the tips and tricks down. <3
Lol, I'll probably have it in within the next week or 2. Depends on when that lazy ass internet provider actually does something. For some reason my laptop works, but not my 360. Hmmm...
Oh i might actually be able to help you there, i have had the same problem three different ways. Do you have a wifi or wired connection?
Router, but I think we just need to reconfigure the 360 back to it. I bought the new 360, but saved all of my data on a USB and re-installed it.
Yeah, its a router setting you need to change. I cant remember off the top of my head how to do it, but the xbox.com customer support FAQ is where i found the answer.
Braaaaaaaaaaaaaaains There's the link (I think) for how to try to fix your connection. It says Pre-NXE but I'm sure it should still work. Just follow the same directions and try to piece together NXE to Pre-NXE :L
Woah, calm down. Make your first map count. Set your name in the stone. When your internet gets back up, get the map straight into the Testers Guild and get it tested. (I'll test it with Yoyo, if he wants to) Then, go for a review; make your map the best it can be. Listen to the man. He knows what he's talking about.
Okay. Here's the summary of what you're supposed to do. Basically, you and your squad of ODST's (friends) were sent to investigate an underground UNSC outpost. Long ago, it used to house the largest ONI building known. Ever since the Covenant glassed the planet everyone inside was killed or hideously mutated. Your point is to go through three open streets and avoid getting killed by the mutants.Every one has 2 lives, one human, one zombie. Humans are supposed to get to the end and grab the custom powerups, which causes insta-kill for them. Then they hunt down the rest of the mutants. Mutants are supposed to stop all humans from getting to the powerups.
I'm not sure I follow. What would be the real reason for the power-up if you can kill the zombies from the start? It causes Insta-Kill, I can see that, but that would unbalance the game wildly, making being a zombie ****. Are the power-ups only active for a certain amount of time, or what?
Yeah, make it so that you get more points for having the custom, or it makes you super strong or something as well. Idk, im not the best with mini-games/casual games.
Hmmm, I'll have to think this through. I'll make the powerups last for 30 seconds only, so if you stray too far from the powerups, you turn into zombie meat. Also, you cannot camp in one spot, because the entrances to the next level lock down. The first one locks down after 90 seconds, 2nd one locks down at 150 seconds. So you must hurry. The zombies are also very tough to kill, with a 200% damage resistance and shields. Zombies are not allowed to get custom powerups or go in the tunnels before they lock down. There are armories as you go, with each eventually getting better.
Woah man. Be careful with armories. Armories CAN be OK SOMETIMES, when used in the right circumstances. Don't overwhelm them by going 'N DIS IS TEH ARMORY. IT HAZ RAWKETS, SNIPER, 4x OS, FIREBOMBS AND MOAR!' Maybe just add a few more clips of ammunition, and grenade regeneration to keep yourself going? The room lockdown idea is great, as it would definitely keep people motivated and play as part of a team to make it to each room in time.
The first armory has 2 BR's, 1 shotgun, and one sniper. Shotgun and sniper has no spare clips, which means 6 shots for the SG and 4 shots with the sniper. The BR's have 1 spare clip each. The second armory has 4 BR's, 2 snipers, 2 shotguns, 2 SMG's and 2 assault rifles. Power weapons (sniper and shotgun) still have no spare clips, while everything else has 1 spare clip. Last armory has everything the other 2 had but has power weapons with full clips. Oh, and nothing respawns, so you get what you get, no refills.
