Really? To me, it looked more like a remake of "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" starring Kevin Costner and Alan Rickman. Oh well... Does anyone have any suggestions for current movies to see (I have already seen Toy Story 3)?
I'm bored, and have seen many of the new movies out Taking a course on film next semester actually (my mom made me, was her favorite class like 20 years or whenever she went to college ago...not that I'm really complaining). That should be fun
It was awful. Why would you write a character to run into a room where a fight just took place "WE HAVE TO GO!" or..."EARTHBENDERS, WHY DONT YOU FIGHT, THERE IS DIRT UNDER YOUR FEET!" ffs...I'm rewriting the script.
I loved the cartoon, but there's just so many things that pissed me off that benders can do. Like how near the end of the last season, Spoiler Katara FINALLY LEARNS SHE CAN ****ING WATERBEND WATER INSIDE THE HUMAN BODY?! You know how useful something like that would've been during some serious fighting moments if she wasn't so ignorant? Seriously...
The give-away that Airbender would be terrible should have been the name plastered on all of the movie posters: M. Night Shyamalan. When was the last time he actually directed anything worth seeing? Edit: I believe it was The Sixth Sense in 1999...
Yeah, it was horrible. There was so much potential. Well that's disregarding the principles that make up waterbending. They're pacifists except in times of war, there'd be no reason to learn, let alone perfect that.
Unbreakable was a GREAT movie, people just thought it was the start of something (which it was, a trilogy) but I felt it was a perfect fit as a standalone movie.
Hm... I don't know, Unbreakable was a fine film, but the Sixth Sense really is the last one that I would say was big.
