Hill is my first map so go easy on me. I made it before i learned about interlocking and floating so you won't find any of that on here. I do feel however that this is a very high quality map regardless. Thanks in advance for checking it out and thanks to Pat900 for his help on the map.Hill uses the entire Foundry map with most of the work being done in the big room. The big room is separated by a wall down the middle with two big ramps on either side that lead the way up and over. The top of the hill is the size of a double wall. Beneath the top of the hill is a small almsot hidden room that has a sword that spawns three minutes into the game. Along the wall there is a sneaky little opening that is easy to forget about. Straight across form the ramps is a little bunker of dumpsters which houses the sniper at the top. Beneath the ramps is a box open at one end containing camo. The two corners at the end of the big room contain a pyramid-like structure which works effectively as a base. At one end of the structure is a teleporter which leads to the respective room connected to the long hallway. Outside the hallway is another structure i just put together which is hard to describe but contains a grav lift to the top. The map has never been played on as of yet so I really don't know how anything will work out. Please leave any comments or advice for me on how to improve the map. Definitely needs testing on. It actually looks like a good map, even without complex forging. Nice and simple. It looks pretty good for King of the hill. I suggest making bigger pictures tho. Also, it would be advisable to playtest the map at least somewhat b4 posting and then post a Beta version so that it can still be changed according to suggestions.
I can't really see the pictures, too small. Try resizing to 640 x 300 something, and use the hotlink, not the thumbnail code. If you can get that fixed I'll edit the post, but I'm really not sure if I want to download atm.
Yea... sorry about the pictures but I fixed them now... and I really don't have anyone to playtest it with.... that's what I'm hoping people here will do for me.
And I'm definitely looking for more comments on how the map plays and how to improve gameplay.... If it seems like something people like I'll redo the map to make it neater.
I'm truly surprised you could assemble such a good map wihtout interlocking, overall it looks like you have a good forging future, I just can't wait to see what you put out iin the future with interlocking...!!

Like an idiot I accidently left a rocket launcher on the top of the hill after editing the gametypes.... so the new link is the map wihtout the rockets haha
i agree with brute the layout looks awsome, just use some interlocking and watch the rating and downloads go flyinh high!
