I recently bin losing alot of br fights and when i lose it to my friends i ask what the f***. dont get me wrong im good at br look at my ranked and social stats. they told me to use bumper jumper. i considered this because i seen it in alot of videos but the real question is should i use it and how long until i use it in mm? right now im using boxer which is great in swords but bumper jumper looks like it would too.

Bumper jumper is excellent in swords and it is better for your BR because you don't have to move your thumb off of the aiming stick to jump or melee.

why would anyone ever use bumper jumper? who needs a BR when a simple assination or beatdown does the trick?

(simply put, I'm a melee noob)

Well the pros use it, it does have a good advantage as far as jumping goes. It is very good for strafe jumping, but it takes a while to get used to for me personally. However, one of the things that has helped to improve my br shot is to take off vibrations. You would be amazed how much it helps.

no trust me. I run at people who are BR'ing me an melee them. If I have a shotgun I don't even shoot with it, I melee. If a have a sword and sniper and I get jumped, i get a sniper beatdown

vibrations are off for me because i havent got a rechargable yet or wired. and do you guys think it is easier to get to difficult jumping places with the scheme like to double jump?

OR, or you can just get better and learn to shoot. Lol, I'm being a re, I know, but really that is the answer, you should focus less on trying to change your settings but what you need to change is your accuracy. Your look sensitivity may actually need to be adjusted. I play on level 7 and BNASTY will tell you I can snipe and BR sickly well. Anyway so my point is try changing your look sensitivity, it may help but takes A LOT of getting used to, but worth it.

Button Layout, Sensitivity, and Vibration are all preference. If you want to go by pros, I would say half use bumper jumper or claw and the other half use default. Vibration and no vibration is probably split down the middle for them too. A couple pros even use inverted.

You can really only go with what works best with you. If you want to improve your BR though, I recommend playing at a high sensitivity for a couple games and moving it down. It will make your BR much steadier. I switched to Bumper Jumper, but it hasn't helped my BR that much. I am considering going back because flag running is considerably harder online with bumper jumper. It works flawlessly on LAN, but pressing B doesn't register as well as RB with all the stuff that goes on online.

If you want to make the switch to BJ, you will see slight improvements in your aiming in midair and your melee. Most of the pros used it originally because you never have to re-adjust your hands throughout the game, but most of them have gone back to default again. The only adjustment that is difficult with BJ is your reload and beatdown will be off for a few games, but the adjustment isn't that bad.

On your 1v1 BR, I would find a setting for you and stick with it. The main thing in a BR battle is unpredictability. You have to confuse your opponent with your strafe, and you also want to jump when you one shot to keep them on their toes. If you master the jumping shot, it makes it much harder for the opponent to hit you. When we are both one shot, I like to jump up and crouch (Ghandi hop), so you are in a ball and are much harder to hit.

Just be patient with it, and if you can't master it, always be with a teammate. That way your Team BR will conceal your individual BR. Good luck.
