LIMITATIONS HERE Limitations is a jump map created by me, Xang Yang. I first started the map near the end of 09 and its been an on and off project until about March. I originally wanted to make a map similar to Mountain Climb or Jumping Flower but decided not to because I wanted to make a map that had actual trick jumps. Limitations takes place at all of the areas of Sandbox, the crypt, main floor, skybubble and guardian tower. My original plan for the map was to make about 10 jumps, but ended up making only 5, mainly due to the fact that I had a big lack of ideas for jumps and I just wouldn't have the budget. THE JUMPS 1. Over Slide 2. Over Slide to Slide Ramp 3. Edge Bounce (jump 3 and 4 are connected by a floating platform) 4. Edge Bounce Over Slide 5. Edge Slide I mainly wanted to make the map consist of slide jumps since basically everybody knows how to do those, but ended up making edge bounces on the map which I doubt many people here of FH will know of, its basically just jumping on the edge of an item and pressing the jump button which will give you either height or distance. GAMETYPES I just thought that I should point out that I made 2 gametypes for the map, one is the VIP gametype, which is meant to be played by yourself. The other is an Oddball gametype which is meant to be played with in a group. Since the 2 jumps in the skybubble are connected, doing both of the jumps in the Oddball gametype would be completely pointless since you are required to in the VIP gametype, but not in the Oddball, so I made a couple walls spawn, blocking one of the jumps in the Oddball gametype, just in case you are wondering why. At the end of the map, you will go up a lift which is located at the guardian tower, which will lead you to the ending room where there is a teleporter door, leading you back to the beginning. I know jump maps are not really known well on FH and that most of you guys cant do this map, but I love sharing my creations so if you feel up to it, the download link for the map and gametype is below. Very nice map man... I was their with you every step of the way with this map... Gratz on finally finishing it and being able to post it. IDK if this is jsut me but the screenshots are a bit laggy looking and strange. Anyways good map with a lot of difficult jumps. GL the rest of FH .
Xang Yang, your pictures are extremely low quality. What kind of filter did you add to them? Anywho, this was a great jumping map. Could I actually do any of them? No. Hell no. Not even in my wildest dreams. These jumps, as are all your jumping maps are some of the most cleanest and original ones I've seen in while. There are massive jumps and even though I think you could've made the skybubble jump area a temple, I'll let that slide and highly recommend this to every one, jumpers or not. btw... you should put the video at the top just because people tend to hit the back button when they see really low quality pictures in a thread ^.^
Downloading them from b.net and the just uploading onto imageshack quickly would've looked better than what you have right now
This looks like an amazing jumping map based off of the video provided by Ruffles. That's amazing video editing by the way, Xang, if you're not going to take the time to create quality pictures, at least display Rifte's video at the top of the thread like he kindly asked. I love the jumps, and even though I don't think I could perform any of these ever! I'm gonna download this and show it to my friends. I'm sure they'll have a blast on it. They love jumping courses. Xang this is max, And I really like your jumpp course. tried it out eround 30 minutes ago. The only thing I dont like is how short it is and it was also a little too easy. But besides that its great 2 see you making maps again.
