    Shipment

So, I decided to try my hand at this whole Foreign Treasures thing. I know I picked probably the easiest map to recreate, but, I'm still relatively new to forging. I don't know, sue me. Foundry seemed like the most logical map to use to make this as it has all of the necessary objects and scenery.

    Starting Weapons:

    • SMG
    • Pistol
    Weapons on Map:

    • 2 Pistols
    • 1 Shotgun
    • 2 BRs
    • 1 Sniper Rifle
    • 2 Assault Rifles
All players spawn with two frag grenades. There are no grenades on the map.

    Shields- 0%
    Gravity- 200%

Let me know if there are any obvious bugs or things that need to be improved.

I don't like the Idea of havong 0% shields and two grenades, even though there are no grenades on the Map, people still drop them, which could lead to grenade spamming. How did this work out during testing?
I tried it in a 1v1 and my Tool of Destruction was the Grenade.

I really like your Map and I love the fact that it is on Foundry, Sandbox would kill the whole atmosphere. The Maps Geometry is very close to the Original One and the little Details help recognizing the Map very fast.
If I were you, I would update the Map before the contest reaches it's deadline, why? Because it's escapable, the Maps have to be playable with the standard Gametypes like Slayer, on those Gametypes it's easily escapable, you don't even have to grenade jump. Maybe Ghost Merging help you with it, in my opinion you should add more walls and merge the Open double boxes a little bit (only so far that the floor disappears). But don't merge the closed Double Boxes, I really like that they aren't merges, just like in the original one it looks like 'real' boxes, not like a 'block', keep it up =)

I was actually gonna enter the contest and make pretty much this map (with the boxes geo-merged of course, no offense ;P), but of course I had to go on vacation the exact time of the contest. :( But enough complaints about my miserable life, let's talk about the map you've made. There are three words that can be used to describe this map. Simple but accurate. The map you've forged is EXACTLY like the CoD4 version. Foundry has the perfect items to remake Shipment - open boxes, closed boxes, palettes, dumpsters, barrels, forklifts, etc. This map is super-simple, perhaps even simpler than the default Foundry, and that's saying a lot. But is that a bad thing? Depends on how you look at it. But nonetheless, you've accurately remade Shipment and for that I congradulate you. Good luck in the contest, you've got yourself a good shot at it.

^Probably the most strongly-worded thing I've ever written.

EDIT: Oh, and the walls blocking off the map from the two 'base areas' look - well, are - very easily escapable. You could either jump on another players head or grenade jump. Add another layer of walls on top.

Okay. The map has been updated. I've used some ghost merging. It's my first time using ghost merging, so, it may be a little sloppy. Also, the wall is pretty much inescapable. Just use the link for the map in the original post. It will take you to the new version of the map.
