BTW, before you ask - Phish Phood is on hold. I couldn't get one part working, so it's on a massive hiatus. So, to avoid too much suspense, here's a quick rundown of some things not mentioned above: >It's Infection. >Humans spawn with oversheilds (manifest style), but they do not recharge. >The Gold creature will kill you far quicker, but takes less to kill. >Tier 1 is the hardest area to hold, while Tiers 2 and 3 get progressivly easier. >Nightfall approaches fast. By the time you reach Tier 3, the previous 2 tiers will be somewhat darker.
So do you go from tier to tier or pick a tier and hold it? Either way this looks amazing, I can't wait for it. The background story sound great, and I love the help in the wall. Hopefully some of Blackout's normal geometry is used in this (other than the parts normally accessible by players on the normal map). Looks like it's really good though, nice idea.
Huh...Is it just me, or do parts of this map actually seem scary? Scary maps are hard to come by, especially in a game like Halo. If you can keep focusing on this one aspect of the game, you could end up with a very nice game. Just remember to focus on the small features, like the "Help" thing scrawled into the wall. Personally, I can't wait until this is released. Cheers, HarisSales. (P.S. A quick and easy way to add fear to the Humans is to make them run at around 75% speed. This would help make your map seem a lot bigger, and it would cause the humans to feel weak, regardless of how much ammunition or shielding they have. Also, Humans can be made to feel even weaker by giving them small-arms weaponry, and by withholding extra ammunition. Just make sure the zombies aren't too strong. Well, these are my tips, take 'em if you want, or leave 'em.)
It looks good so far i'll keep an eye out for the full map I always when someone makes a good map on somthing other then sandbox and foundry
