So it turns out that today is the 1000th day of Halo 3. I actually found this out completely randomly, idly checking out my Halocharts page, and yep, it's 1000 days from September 25th, 2007, the release date of H3. It's pretty crazy really imagining how much that is, and while we're all aware the game is dying/on the verge of dying, I know I'm going to be heading back onto it today for as much classic fun as I can get together. Starting with some old classics (TREMORS!!!) and then going into some of the newer stuff. Check here for some of my humiliatingly ridiculous statistics over the past 1000 days of Halo 3 I guess we've had our fair share of "remembrance" threads, and I'm sure we will again soon with Bungie Day coming up on the 7th, but this is a pretty cool date. I still remember all the hype surrounding H3. I think it lived up to most of it's expectations. It did spawn communities like ForgeHub. Kinda makes me wonder what new stuff Reach is going to have that will prompt people to create communities based on that one feature. Also, Insane, you rule for having that Peggle gamerpic.
I also have the Peggle Xbox Theme. Best theme out And agreed, I'm curious to see what'll be happening now that we have a strong connection to 343 and Bungie already...I can only hope for great things, but these ideas aren't impossible by any means anymore.
