Yep, just finished transferring all my data, so I'm good to go. Guess I'll try out a game and see if it really is whisper quiet.
    ---
Just played a few games of MW2, and it was quieter than my xbox has ever been. At the volume I keep my TV at, I couldn't even hear it. I turned it down to where it usually is when everyone else in my house is asleep, and I still could just barely hear it.

I really like the touch sensitive buttons and the sound they make. With all my trade in values, this was $100 well spent.

I wonder if they fixed the RRoD and other hardware issues with this one. Anyone hear anything about it? I would hope they did but it is Microsoft.

I wanna get this but don't want to trade in my Halo 360 and don't want to spend 300 for a second one.

I traded in my console, 2 controllers, my 20gig HDD, and my wireless adapter. Along with the little boost my Edge card gave me, I only had to pay about $110. Without the Edge card, it was around $130-$120. Gamestop has great trade in values right now, so it's definitely worth it.

Also, with RRoD, they've said that the three red lights will never appear on the console, but only because that's not how they communicate that system failure anymore. I'm not sure how the console lets you know the system has failed, but with way more ventilation, a large fan on the inside, and newer chips, the fail rate is much lower. The fail rate for new Xbox's was already low, but media and the fact that whenever you get yours refurbished it usually add older equipment, making it more likely to fail, made most people think the fail rate for Xbox's was still very high.

    Trade-in values?

Did you trade-in your original 360? If you did, how much did it go for?
