The walls are raised enough so you cant jump out. I have a lot more ideas for this map, but the limit on how many items i can use got in the way. Uploaded with ImageShack.us The Center piece. Camo spawns in the center of the cube every 90 seconds. (It is possible to get ontop of the cube, by jumping from the South Deck.) Uploaded with ImageShack.us This is the Gravlift Room, where the blue corpse's head is, is where the gravlift that takes you to the Spiker room is located. This room also connects to the spiral ramp room. Dual SMGs spawn in here. To the left after entering leads you to the shotgun room. Where the Brown guy is on the top right is a balcony on the 3rd level. Emediatly to the left is a small back alley that leads to the 1st building. There are 3 entrances to this, the lower level of the 2nd building and the left ramp in the 1st building, and an opening under the north deck. This map took a couple days to make, i enjoyed making it and wish i could do more with it. please tell me what you think of it. (Smiley face)
map design is great. but the delivery was a little sloppy. the areas in pictures 3 5 11 and the last one look like they need alittle work. if you make it neater the map will be ten times better
i really like the layout of the map, but some bits are sloppy and could be cleaned up a bit, but my real problem is the amount of equipment and weapons you have on a map of this size. Death yoyo made an amazing guide on how to make good weapon placements, and i would link it for you if i could only find it...
This looks ok. You really, really need to make a better looking center piece. What I'm also wondering is why did you added so much equipment? Get rid of that flare and radar jammer and this map will be a tad better
im working on redoing the weapons and i got rid of the flare, radar jammer and power drain. and a few spike grenades
Erm, not to get too nitty-gritty, but the name doesn't really fit the map; normally, map names are meant to reflect an aspect, defining feature, or characteristic of the map it entitles. That in mind, a hexahedron is "a solid figure with six plane faces." I dunno about anyone else, but this map here doesn't bear much resemblance to a Hexahedron. Because the map is far from that definition, the title is misleading, to the point where people (like me) go into this thinking of maps like Helix, and come out a wee bit confused. In short: a new name which more closely resembles the map might be of help. -=Moxus=-
The map design is great, however the scenery could use some work. However, keep it up and you may be an accomplished competitive map maker some day.
Hexahedron. aka a cube. aka the f-in centerpiece in my map.. i could change it back to the original name "Waffles" if you want? ya it has nothing to do with the map, but that shouldnt matter its still really fun to play on
the map is okay, its not the best i've seen on forgehub but its okay i can't really come to see another way to put it. the map layout is good but some things look like they could use fusing just to touch it up a bit. for example look at the wooden corner, try to add more so its even ok. i'll give this map a 3/5 because its not bad nor awesome its in the middle.
