ADDICT V1 This map was created by my friend (Gamertag = iPartyandHack) with tweaks and design input from me (Gamertag = ITCH3S). I wanted to post this so I can get more user feedback/input for future versions and modifications. Being that this was iPartyandHack's first ever Halo map as well as my first time using forge please, be constructive with your feedback. I hope everyone enjoys! Map Description: ADDICT V1 is a fast paced, highly competitive, symmetrical map built for a variety of different game types. Its primary game types include Slayer, King of the Hill, and Flag (1 or Multi Flag). Suitable for Team games ranging from 2v2, 3v3, and 4v4. It was designed with MLG game play in mind although currently Attic v1 does NOT meet all of the MLG game standards. Downloads: Please make sure you rate the flag after playing it or reviewing it. My question is, why is it named attic, when in fact it isn't an attic? Anyways, tell your bud he has a little more work to to, but it looks like he understands basic map layout, whic is good. But he needs to work on flow. And I really don't think this would flow too good. Tell your friend that this map also needs some extreme tidying up. And get rid of that custom powerup
I'm not too fond of the name either to be honest. We know we have more work to do, tidying up is a good way to describe what really needs to be done too. We didn't know any of the Forge 101 tips/tricks when this map was made so once we learn all of those the map should drastically better for Version 2. As far as "Flow", you haven't downloaded and played the map it looks like. The map design has its purposes for different game types to be more fair and logical...what exactly DOESN'T flow?
I just know from experience on my own maps whenever they didn't flow, I was told. Maps like this never flow; just bridge to box to stairs to floor, which isn't flow brother. Maybe Im wrong though, so I'll dl just for you EDIT: I get a bungie error whenever I try to dl the slayer version

The weapons need work with better placement, more memorability, and moderation, as well as several other things like the entire middle line messing up almost everything. Also, the name Attic is taken by another memorable map, you should definatly change that.
Thanks for the link Death Yoyo. Cart0graphy gave me the same one. I'll definitely be working on revising the map but we feel the overall layout is good for competitive game plays. As for the weapons I couldn't agree more with you. Would you be interested in playing a king of the hill with me and some friends to test out the map more?
I'm online now just sitting here trying to figure out forge hahaha. I hate it so much because I'm honestly just bad at it. I don't have many friends at all on this account however so you'd need to recruit others.
it is a very good idea. but interlocking and some advanced forging would make it even better. kinda seperate the pictures next time too. it kinda makes them hard to look at. lol.
Thanks to Death YoYo I'm using the ghost merge technique now to clean up the map a bit. For the most part it will remain the same but with a few small additions and overall cleaner look. Hopefully more people will download and play this map though.
