Foundry Twisted!

    This is my first post guys, so comment and tell me how i did...

    Supported Gametypes:
    As of right now, I believe this map only supports free-for-all (slayer) game type. This is because i haven't gotten time to actually configure all the other map types into it. But don't hold me to this... I think we became lazy when it came to this... =P

    Map Description
    This map started with Grehbeh, which one day he was insanely bored, and started playing around in forge. He designed the tower and "twisted" paths around it. I joined a while later, and asked what he was doing... and he just replied with "making a map" (yeah... i know, makes sense right?). so i looked around and started messing around, placing things that would look nice. eventually we ended up with an awesome looking map, that took about 6 hours to make.

    The map was not based off of anything, it was just a thing we just made (0.0)... the map plays great in slayer, and it is hard to NOT get killed. (camping at the top = being spammed with grenades >=D).

    I have mainly overviews of my map, and a couple close-ups. It is in fact a fairly small map so it is easy to get a vibe of it. =?



    This is the first of my overviews. The middle tower will make a huge difference in the game depending on who is controlling it.

    The man cannon up to mid tower... it sometimes throws you to sniper spawn, i don't know how to fix this...

    I would seriously like to give a shout out to my friend Grehbeh, he was the brains behind this map and it was a really fun time making it... =D. There is a small problem with the spawns, but come on... that is insanely hard to fix =/. besides that, this map is really fun, and can sometimes get hectic with a 16 player slayer!!!!

    hmm.. interesting.. i dont really see the point of this map. it's kinda bold. i dont know how to say it. however, no dl. sorry

    I can only judge from the pics at this point, but I would suggest immediately making sure that all of your pieces are carefully lined up for both gameplay and for looks. Off the top of my head:

    In pic 1: baricade is not at the very end of the floated walkway, and the baricade in the distance cuts off a triangle of floating floor wall. I would merge the wall to not have a little triangle on the other side.
    In pic 2: The wall used as a ramp is not merged into the ground.
    in pic 3 the wall is not merged into the block at the end

    etc. Just try to clean it up.

    Thanks for the feedback guys... this was our first map ever made, and we didn't really care for the design, rather than the gameplay... plus this was built a really long time ago... before most of the forging techniques were found... =/
