Sandbox The X Effect

    Hello ForgeHub! The X Effect was thought up one day when I was sitting in class and just started drawing and came up with the idea of two big "X's" for each base. But having two "X's" for bases really did'nt work out so I used them as middle structures. The whole map is based aroung 45 degree angles so that helped me alot with the lining up of objects.
    This map works with Team Slayer and CTF.
    Also for some reason, the opposite teams will spawn in opposing bases. I have tried to fix it but nothing works. Can someone give me a reason why it's not working so I can fix it, but it doesnot affect gameplay.​

    OMG you finally submitted this! Didn't I help with the spawn system?...
    It looks good, only thing though is its rather open and doesn't have much height variation. I woulda suggested some cover on the top level, as it seems too open with massive LOS.
    Great work, still noticed you got the opposite spawning problem thing. Was it my spawn system thats causing this annoyance?

    I am going to download this and have a look but before i do, im going to play DarkSiders before i download this. The map itself looks very clean the unique way you have designed the map.

    well it looks alright. outside of the tunnels it could use some scenery. but good idea overall. 3/5

    Youve got all the attacker (blue) spawn points & starting points on the red side, and all the defender (red) spawn points & starting points on the blue side. Just go into each gametype within the forge mode, by pausing the game and changing the gametype to slayer, or ctf, or whatever, and then switch all of the starting points and spawn points.

    On the map; Ive not got much advice atm other than that it looks WAY too open up top, ill come back if ive got anything else in a bit.

    Height. That's all you need. May I suggest adding some hardcores sniper towers outside of the X to make gameplay a bit more interesting. I really love the bases, I think you should add a second story just to spice it up even more. Good job, v2?

    Just switch the lights and colums... no need to worry about spawing settings.

    Thanks for all the feedback. Now that I know what the problems are and how to fix them I will most likely release a v2. But now I will have to do it on a budget/object glitched map because right now I am at the object limit.
