Condemned Download Map Variant Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details Download Game Type Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details Storyline The year is 2619. The Covenant had been gone for quite some time now. A team of Scavengers, heading out to the wasteland, found these retired and inactive defense towers. What they didn't know, was it was infested with brain sucking and blood hungry Zombies. There had been rumors of a top secret laboratory beneath the earth of this land, no one thought they were true. Now these Zombies have come up from they're graves to claim this land their own. It will take all the courage in them to exterminate these pests. Hold together as a team, or fall prey alone. Biography This map was made mostly for the play of the infection game type. I started the production of this map in the summer of 2009, although I stopped working on it due to more interest in other games. It caught my eye one day as I was searching through old maps. It turned out that I only needed a few more hours of work to finish it. After some minor touch ups on the map, I finished it in the middle of May 2010. There was only one flaw I needed to fix and that was doing the best I could at preventing people from getting out of the map. The main problem was the object limit. But now, I bring to you Condemned. Information This map is 100% symmetrical. It consists of 2 main buildings with an underground tunnel and a top catwalk connecting them. There are 2 main floors for the building and the Zombies can pour in from 4 different teleporters which are randomly selected as they walk through. The Zombies have 50% health, Unchanged gravity, and 150% speed. The humans have everything normal, they spawn with magnums and no grenades. Both the attackers and defenders have no sensors. When picking up custom powerup, you receive poor camo and 150% speed. There is only 1 honor rule, Do not get out of the map. I have tested this and people have double jumped over walls. I would have fixed this flaw, if it wasn't for the object limit. The map contains these weapons: Battle Rifle x8 (corner of back courtyard & basement) Shotgun x2 (back of the courtyard) Magnum x4 (center of basement) Bubble shield x1 (middle of catwalk) Custom Powerup x2 (inside the tent) Grav lift x2 (inside the grav lift hut) Active Camo (center of tunnel) Pictures A general overview Looking at the catwalk Red courtyard Grav lift hut Blue basement A different view of blue basement Red tent Blue tent with some company An outside look Thank you for taking the time to look at my thread and hopefully read all of it. Thanks for showing me this map, i tried it and its lots of fun, but its a bummer that people are getting out of the map :/ -Simply ;]
Thanks, and yeah this map is a lot of fun with a large party. I'm glad you played this and gave me feedback. =]
Hey great map but if I could give a tip, especially for object limits, remove all BRs. Since the zombies have 50% health and no shields, and there are 8 BRs, the zombies would be owned badly if there is a certain amount. Replace these with either a few weak automatics (SMGs or Spikers) or just plain remove them. Trust me it will play waaaaay better. ;D But I didn't make or test this map so you know....
Okay, I honestly think the map is amazing and was just giving a little tip. But if this map is as you say it is, then that is fine by me. In fact I think I will give this a DL as soon as I can get a couple of things squared away on my hard-drive. Honest rating I would give this a 9/10
Thanks, yeah I know I will take it into consideration. --- I'm not sure I understand your grammar but thanks anyway for a rating.
well yeah, wasn't really thinking, I forgot to mention the neatness, after looking at it more in game, 9/10, too easy to get out of map. its all good
