Click to Download MLG Broadside This is a great map for CTF, it's my first non-racetrack map. It's also the first foundry map I've seen with a bottemless pit! (YES WHEN YOU FALL IN IT SAYS, YOU FELL TO YOUR DEATH.) Thanks to my friend nobudy for making this MLG rebuild of my CTF map, Broadside There are two cliffs in this map, each with a base and a lower area where you plant the flag. There are 4 bridges you can use to cross the gorge in between. Gametypes: Multiflag and Tank Flag Screenshots Map Overview The Gorge A Base Lower Level
Why'd you put MLG in front of it? And thats not a bottomless pit, it's a pit with teleporters in it... And shouldn't there be interlocking in a so-called MLG map?
Looks awesome. But one problem- what happens if the flag drops into the cliff or someone with the flag falls through?
if the flag went through the pit with someone it would just auto delte and respawn. if it felll in, youd just have to wait LIKE A REAL BOTTOMLESS PIT
the teleporters serve the same perpose as a pit, they send you outside the deathwall, and i was going to interlock but i didnt have enough boxes. its a great map and plays well.
So there are no weapons? Interesting, I have come across almost no maps without weapons. Still, map geometry looks intriguing, though could use interlocking.
my friend just put an mlg type weapons layout on the map. there is a version with no weapons, just click the download button
the forged MLG maps are incredibly clean. This doesn't look it. What exactly makes it MLG. What are the weapon spawns?
seems pretty good idk why that one guys is flamming and stuff but it seems like it would play pretty well, someinterlocking could have been used but if you were to play this map with the mlg gametype it would still be pretty fun
The only reason you put "MLG" infront of the name is too get more people to look at it. Serves no purpose other than that. I would download this map but the whole "No weapons" thing is just stupid...
well that's not much of an excuse- interlocking makes the area a little bit smaller-that's all. You can also use walls, fence walls, fence boxes, and bridges if needed.
This map looks nothing at all of what an mlg map should look like, last time i checked there where no "death pits" in mlg maps. Adding MLG in front of a title doesnt automatically make it that level of a map, and running out of boxes is no excuse not to interlock those double boxes.
Mallet already made a original map a little while ago called gulf chronicles that has working death pits in it. Go to advanced forging techniques in the forging 101 section and read about interlocking, you don't need extra boxes. For a level to be laid out mlg style , it needs to be extremely balanced, and can only have mlg weapons on it. As far as I know they don't play on any maps in halo 3 that have death pits other then narrows.
